About Cristofol

We are a young couple who loves travelling. Antonia works in the translation and localization industry, and Cristòfol is a biomedical scientist. We have two wonderful kids of 6 and 2 years old. We fell in love of this property last February and we bought it right away.

Why Cristofol chose Campanet

Finca L'Abeurador is a 5 bedroom house consisting of two master bedrooms and three double bedrooms. There are three full bathrooms, an ample dining and living room and a fully-equipped kitchen. The house has a large swimming pool with a huge terrace, and two different chill-out areas to relax and enjoy food and drinks. We are currently renovating the property, it will be brand new by March 2017, with an open kitchen and fully renovated bathrooms (please check the plans of the renovation, it will look even more amazing than now!!).

What makes this cottage unique

Finca L'Abeurador is located on top of a little mountain and enjoys a privileged view of the Tramuntana Mountains. The house is only 15 minutes away from the amazing beaches of Puerto Pollença and Alcudia. And its at a walk away from the amazing Campanet Caves. They are a natural beauty that go deep underground with large irregular rooms, galleries and corridors.

Excellent property - views to remember

Two couples and one single stayed here as part of a big birthday celebration. The house was exactly as described - clean, well decorated; everything that you need is here. In larger houses there is sometimes as issue with the unequal nature of the rooms. Here they are all of the same high standard. The various bathrooms I would describe as hotel quality.The views are simply stunning - anyone worried that the house might be a little remote should not be - it isn't but it still manages to feel private and rural. It is possible to walk into town - takes maybe 25 minutes? The owner Chris was quick to respond to any query and was very helpful; fruit and wine to welcome us - how nice! I can't say anymore other than that I would stay here again without hesitation.

Fantastic stay in majorca

I have to say that this is one other best villas we have stayed in recently. Very clean and quiet. The owners were very nice and helpful. The villa has a super view and a great pool. Best of all was coffee first thing in the morning on the balcony, looking north to the mountains. The villa takes some finding, but follow the signs to the caves, and you can't go wrong, its about 30-40 miins from the ariport. Nearest Aldi is in Inca - not much in Campernet, but Polenca is 15 mins away. You would definately need a hire car. 4 decent sized bedrooms and a large room with bunk beds. I would thoroughly recommend it and the owners were very nice and helpful. The villa is very charming and typical of a traditional spanish house. We understand from the owners that a full update of the villa is scheduled for winter 16 so next year it should be even better!

DAS ist Urlaub auf Mallorca - Perfecto !

Vom ersten Kontakt bis zur Verabschiedung sorgten Cristofol und Antonia für das perfekte Urlaubsdomizil. Fragen wurden äußerst zeitnah beantwortet. Wir hatten nie das Gefühl, "nur" Gäste zu sein.

10 Personen - 5 Erwachsense, 1 Jugendlicher und 4 Kinder hatten mehr als genügend Platz, um zu chillen, Spaß zu haben, als Familie gemeinsam entspannt Urlaub zu machen.

Das Haus überzeugt vor allen in Details, die liebevoll und wohlüberlegt sind, wie z.B. ein Bewegungsmelder in den Bädern, sodass immer ein kleines Licht leuchtet, wenn man dies betritt und niemals im Dunkeln steht. Die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten laden hier und dar zum Verweilen ein. Ein Kampf um die Liegen fand zu keinem Zeitpunkt statt...warum auch, es waren genug vorhanden.

Küche ist sehr modern und gut ausgestattet. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Gut, die deutsche Definition einer Kaffemaschine ist ev. abweichend zur spannischen. Uns hat es nicht gestört - im Gegenteil, ein sehr schöne Erfahrung. Pool ist beleuchtet, so dass die Kinder auch spät am Abend bei warmen Aussentemperaturen noch eine Abkühlung erfuhren.

Lobend zu erwähnen, da noch nicht in den Beschreibungen vorhanden: Das Haus verfügt über ein eigenes Fitnessstudio ausserhalb des Haupthauses. Der ehemalige Hühner- und Kanichenstall wurde im letzten Winter umgebaut und lockt nun mit 6 Geräten, welche von uns ausgiebig genutzt wurden.

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, ein kleiner Supermarkt in Campanet, Lidl mit einem sehr guten Angebot in Sa Pobla.

Wer also fernab des (erreichbaren) Touristentrubels Urlaub genießen möchte, ist hier mehr als gut aufgehoben.

Ob wir wiederkommen? Ehrlich gesagt würde dann ein Traum in Erfüllung gehen...

Excellent Holiday & Villa

I'll start by talking about the owners, Cristofol & Antonia, who were very quick at responding to our interest in staying at the villa and had us booked in no time at all. They were thoughtful on the day of our arrival by sending myself a message to make sure we had arrived and found the villa ok. We met them during our stay when they came over to make sure that everything had been going well and to give the pool a clean. They were also happy to share information about the island which led us to exploring various parts of the island.

Moving on to the villa....quite simply put it's stunning. We were a family on 10 staying here but there was amble room for us all without feeling like we were on top of one another. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning in the bedrooms made for a peaceful nights sleep. The views from the kitchen, lounge and terrace across the valley at the mountain backdrop are amazing...sitting outside during breakfast, lunch and dinner was never a hardship.

I would recommend a hire car when staying here due to the location of the villa. At the top of the hill a small shop can be found for the regular essentials at short notice. We drove over to find the Mercadona in Sa Pobla when doing our main shop. The village of Campanet is a short drive or 25 minute walk away where in the market square you can find a range of café/restaurants are open everyday. A drive up to Alcudia, which took about 20 minutes, would lead you to finding a busier tourist area but also the chance to go on trips of varying lengths...we went on one of the many trips offered up there.

I found this villa a perfect place for rest and relaxation but also in a good location to go and see other parts of the island. My family and I would definitely return to island and without hesitation stay in this villa again.

Exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel dans la magnifique maison de Cristofol et Antonia.

Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique, les moments au bord de la piscine y sont d'autant plus appréciables. La maison est grande, propre, bien équipée et la décoration est soignée.

Nous remercions Cristofol et Antonia pour leur accueil et leurs chaleureuses attentions.

Lovely Experience

A beautiful newly renovated and stylish house, which makes you feel at home away from home.

The views from the pool and terrace are stunning and you can spend endless evenings in the lounge by the pool.

Cristofol and Antonia are great hosts, who make your stay in Mallorca as easy as possible.

The farm is located 5 minutes walk from the natural caves of Campanet, famous for being very spacious, with large galleries and an underground lake. Farm stands the spectacular views Artruitx Valley, in the Sierra de Tramuntana. The site is idyllic to enjoy the natural beauty of Mallorca. Still, the beautiful beaches of Pollença, Alcudia and Can Picafort are just a 15 minute drive.
