Fantastic apartment in a great location, thank you!

We spent a week in this apartment and had a great holiday. Joaquin was very easy to deal with and responded very quickly to my emails. The apartment is located in a great gated development with secure parking under the building and access to a huge, stunning communal pool surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens.

The apartment is well appointed and has everything you could need. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is equipped with all mod cons, including two fridges, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. The two twin rooms have large bathrooms with big walk-in showers, the third twin room on the top floor has a good sized shower room en suite, and the master bedroom has a huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath, double sinks and a large shower cubicle.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well-maintained. The terraces are beautiful and the plunge pool on the top terrace is fantastic. The outdoor furniture and cushions are in great condition and there are retractable awnings which would be great to use in the heat of the summer. The communal areas are spotlessly clean, I spotted a cleaning lady in the building twice during our week's holiday, someone came to maintain the plunge pool and the lawns around the pool were immaculate.

Two things worth mentioning which were relevant for us - an English family with young children: firstly the TV has the Disney channel in English but otherwise all programmes are in Spanish (as advised on the listing). Secondly the apartment does not have it's own wi-fi but relies on the internet supplied by the development, which unfortunately was not available during our stay, only over the summer months.

We loved staying here and would definitely come back, thank you Joaquin!

Superb Penthouse

We hired the penthouse for the month of Sept and absolutely loved it. The photographs, although wonderful, don't really do it justice.

If you want to get away from it all but also be a few minutes by car to everything then this property is perfect.

The kitchen was extremely well equipped. All the bedrooms had plenty of quality linen and towels. The layout was spot on with 3 bedrooms having their own outdoor space. One member of our family has mobility issues and the stair lift was invaluable.

Everyone lived between the 2 outside terraces, one of which has the plunge pool plus plenty of outdoor furniture. The plunge pool is very well maintained and is checked and cleaned every week. The communal pool and gardens are well kept and the residents club (Club de padel Alhambra del golf) is over the road and serves great food.

We hired a car (Miami Cars) as it is easy to drive around, everything is off the A7 coastal road. From Malaga airport to Guadalmina will take an hour. Benahavis is 5 minutes away and boasts some great restaurants plus a large Mercadona. San Pedro beach is 5 mins away and from there you can walk to Porta Banus. The ferry to Marbella runs every 30 mins. The resort of Estepona is also about 25 minutes away.

The nearest supermarket is Aldi about 15 minutes walk away (4 mins by car) and there are also a good choice of restaurants further along the same road.

One point is that the Satellite TV was Spanish only and Wifi is available using the Club de padel Alhambra del golf.

I would not hesitate to book again, thank you for a truly memorable holiday.

Preciosa casa ideal para familias

Hemos pasado un mes completo de verano y todo ha sido estupendo y muy fácil. Joaquín es encantador y en seguida da respuesta a cualquier inconveniente que surge. La casa está equipada con lo que necesitas, ni más ni menos cosa que es de agradecer porque facilita mucho la estancia. La amplitud de las habitaciones con sus baños independientes, la terraza para los inolvidables desayunos de verano y sobre todo las tardes de relax en la piscinita de la azotea son sus grandes puntos fuertes. Los niños felices con la piscina comunitaria y las zonas verdes. La playa cerca aunque como las de toda la zona, no es maravillosa. Pero la ubicación te permite estar cerca de la carrretera principal de la zona lo que te da acceso a todo. Ha sido todo muy fácil que es lo que buscas en verano.

La verdad es que la casa está muy agradable , la pusimos con mucho cariño para pasar ahí los veranos nosotros pero finalmente decidimos alquilarla .Esa es la clave del éxito : alquilar lo que hiciste pensando en estar a gusto tu mismo .
