We had a lovely ski weekend and this cabin was the perfect spot to relax and snuggle. Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean and cozy place to stay.
We came to the cabin to relax and enjoy the Fall colors and we were not disappointed. The cabin is a little slice of heaven, tucked away in a beautiful Vermont landscape. My son is a waterfall fanatic so this location was perfect for him to relax after rehabbing from a total hip replacement this summer. We enjoyed an amazing gluten free pizza and found wonderful salad fixings at Sylvester's. We explored the area and drove to Smuggler's Notch which is a must see if you are in the area. We enjoyed every relaxing moment spent at the cabin! Thank you Leesa!
My Husband and I just got back from our stay at this lovely little cozy cabin. The property is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. The cabin is located right behind the owner's home, but you don't even know that anyone else is there. It feels like your own little paradise away from reality. The cabin was immaculate, it had all the essentials for cooking, and the owner was kind enough to stock the fridge with a few fresh eggs, bread and even some snacks. There was also coffee, seasonings and some fresh fruit waiting for us. She also has a grill outside, so just bring along some charcoal and you can have a nice bbq. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening, along with the fire pit and we had a great time venturing down into the river to swim in the swimming holes located right down the staircases in the back. There is also a grocery located not too far away. A truly relaxing little getaway.
Thank you to Leesa and her wonderful son for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home
This place is beautiful! Just what we needed! Very calming listening to the waterfall. The owners were amazing and very willing to help made our first morning simple and easy by giving us fresh eggs and bread and coffee fixings plus more. We can't wait for next year! Already planning our anniversary getaway!
The property was completely delightful. The waterfall was quite soothing at night. We arrived in the middle of an impressive heat wave, and all windows had to be kept open all the time, but that just filled the cabin with the sounds of the water and the birds, with a cool breeze at night. We were fortunate enough to have had three major thunderstorms, which may sound like an odd statement but we were looking for mental downtime, and there is nothing like watching a storm over the rapids below. Exhilarating. The property is connected to a private home where chickens, goats and truly whimsical rabbits can be found, but none are ever obtrusive. The rabbits were painfully cute. The waterfall can be hiked to a delicious cold plunge pool. Absolutely nothing we wanted to do was more than a 90 minute drive away at most, and there were certainly a lot of recreation, dining options and shopping possibilities in those parameters. If you need serenity for two, this is the place to be.
We had a great stay at the cabin over the waterfall. When you first pull up you might be a little alarmed. The cabin is right in the backyard of the owners house. They are only 30 yards away. Don't that deter you, your stay will be very private! The cabin is very quaint, rustic and homey. Leesa stocked us up with fresh eggs, bread, and coffee for the morning. Very sweet of her! The location is perfect for a quiet weekend up in the mountains.
