Beautiful and relaxing
We loved the cabin! It was romantic and secluded! Super clean and comfortable. Close to Jay Peak and not to mention the wood fired hot tub! What a great experience! My wife and I would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed a two night stay in this magical spot. We arrived after dark and as we opened the door,we were met with a warm and cozy atmosphere. We immediately felt at home. It was easy to see the amount of time and thought that Leesa so passionately provides to make her guest feel welcome
There were chocolates, a basket of fruit, pizza, and everything we needed for a great breakfast. It was so nice to stay in a place that was so clean, I have been known to clean and disinfect a place before I feel comfortable staying , this was not the case here , sparkling clean! The hot tub was a great experience, Leesa showed us how to get it up to temperature, it took about 4 hours as my husband fed it with wood, the end result was amazing! Sitting in the hot tub surrounded by snow and listening to the waterfall while drinking wine, it was the best, especially after a day of snowshoeing. We went to Jay Peak, beautiful spot! Ate twice at Bernies in town, great food and pleasant waitresses. Montgomery is a small town, but very nice. We hope to visit in the fall, can only imagine how beautiful it all is with the foliage. Thanks Leesa for a great spot!
Comfortable and cozy cabin
At first we thought that a cabin over a waterfall was too good to be true. Everything is exactly as advertised. The cabin is private and cozy, the waterfall is beautiful. This was a great location for us to stay while we explored Northern Vermont and enjoyed the fall foliage. Leesa and her son were available when we had questions but otherwise let us enjoy our privacy. The waterfall makes this cabin one-of-a-kind and we highly recommend it.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. We loved the sound of the water fall and the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was unique in that the water was fresh spring water. We would highly recommended this sweet little cottage.
Very Clean, Comfy, and Cozy!!
We absolutely adored this homeaway! The whole cabin was exceptionally clean and had a warm/cozy feel! My girlfriend is a slight germophobe and she felt more comfortable staying here than in a hotel. Everything you would need was provided to you and more! The bathroom seemed brand new and offered a small heater for the colder days. Next to the bed was a large window overlooking the serene waterfall and river. Around the cabin was a wrap around porch that allowed you to see the waterfall from multiple perspectives. The cabin was close to the owners home, but they were so gracious to make sure we felt as if we were the only ones on the property. I would stay here again and again! Highly recommend! We love to cook and the kitchen had ample space and everything we needed to cook. We brought our Blue Apron meals and were able too cook them with no trouble. Thank you Lee & Ian!!
I didn't read the other reviews before booking, so I wasn't aware that the owner was on site.
We had a great time, and were very pleased with our visit. The owner was on site, but never once an issue. Leesa's son, Ian was such a great help! We met the goats, and bunnies, which was so fun for us! We would be happy to book this cabin again.
