Magestic panoramic views of the mountains from this beautiful cabin from all windows!!

  • 5 of 5

We had the most amazing experience at the hilltop retreat. The views are spectacular, so we decided to stay an extra night, and Melissa (owner) went above and beyond to accommodate. The cabin itself is absolutely amazing, with all amenities we needed, and more. The views from the pool area, living room, kitchen and office are so spectacular, this place is truly a hidden gem. I can't wait to visit again, truly one of the best places to stay for rest and relaxation, and exploring the outdoors of WY.

Wyoming's Gem, Sunrise Mountain Lodge

  • 5 of 5

I have planned my vacations through VRBO or Home Away for many years now, but none have been as good as Sunrise Mountain Lodge. The views were beautiful, the house was equipped with everything we needed and it was very clean. I would recommend staying at this home to everyone! My family and I had a great time and had lots of fun while staying at the house especially playing in the pool. Wyoming is a beautiful state, filled with many wonderful and interesting places. Thank you Melissa for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

Amazing !!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this absolutely beautiful home for 6 nights and we wished we could stay forever! It is absolutely amazing ! The sunrises and the sunsets are worth more than all the money in the world! The sounds of the roosters, chickens, goats, sheep, cows, turkeys, pheasant in early morning...., just unbelievable!! Everyone in town was super friendly and welcoming. The biggest thrill was seeing the cinnamon coloured brown bear just down the street!! We loved the area , and we got even better taste of it when we went off-roading, what a fun !! The kids LOVED the indoor pool, and us adults loved to just hang out on the porch watching the mountain views. We definitely recommend this place, thank you Melissa for letting us rent it !

Outstanding home with the most beautiful views imaginable of the Big Horn Mountains.

  • 5 of 5

Melissa's home was beautiful. The unique log home was designed with the convenience and luxuries of a top-notch hotel. Extremely quiet, the logs created an atmosphere of calmness and peace. Although we didn't use the heated, indoor pool much, the convenience of having one will appeal to many families. It was heated with an alternating rainbow of lights that was very entertaining. There were multiple doors that opened to the deck.

The house was extremely clean and well maintained. Diane and Althea do a great job of cleaning it from top to bottom. It was well furnished with modern appliances and a very efficient heating and cooling system, including a wood-burning stove in the great room. The washer/dryer was very convenient.

The beauty and quietness of the neighborhood were significant selling points for us. The rural atmosphere of horses, chickens, and sheep takes you back to a simpler way of life. We met many of the neighbors, and they were all so welcoming and inviting. The high desert air is clean and the view is "high definition!" Drinking coffee on the deck in the early morning as the sun came up over the Big Horns while listening to a horse whinny, a rooster crow, and a chicken cackle took me back to my childhood days. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience every single moment we were there. We highly recommend this home for anyone interested in a relaxing, warm environment.

Beautiful Property!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin during a snowmobiling trip and it was perfect! The property (cabin & views) are stunning. I don't have a bad thing to say about our stay here - the amenities are numerous, everything was very comfortable, and Melissa is very accommodating. We rented snowmobiles from Bear Lodge so made the trip up the mountain two days which wasn't bad; we actually appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the scenery. I cant wait for our next trip, we'd definitely stay at this cabin again! Next time we'll plan more time to spend AT THE CABIN because it's that amazing!

Relaxing Mountains

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house as part of our 40th Anniversary celebration. This was our first experience with VRBO, and would highly recommend anyone to do the same! The house was beautifully furnished, had everything provided that you could need, even the bedding was comfy and luxurious. Some days we just stayed at the house and just enjoyed the views on the deck, the mountains are ever changing throughout the day, sundown being most glorious. It served well as a base for other days as we toured the Big Horns, Cody, Sheridan and Greybull. Our last night at the house we went to Lisa's for one of the best meals we've ever had! The house is in a very peaceful setting, we had a wonderful time, enjoyed every minute.
