Pargue Santiago 1 - one of the most attractive, and in many people’s eyes, the best apartment complex in Tenerife.

Parque Santiago 1 commands an extremely enviable, beach front, position, with the choice of several beaches kaccessible via Geranium Walk, the seafront promenade

which provides easy access to all areas of the resort. The complex has a wonderful, swimming pool surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area, set in tropical gardens of palm trees and flowers. It is one of the few swimming pools in Tenerife that are heated during the winter months (October to April).

The property contains satellite TV - including premium channels; Sky Movies, Sky Sports 1, BBC1 & ITV1.

This is a bright and spacious two bedroom, ground floor apartment, all on one level and easily accessible. It has a large secure patio, containing a dining area for six people and your own sun beds to soak up the sun. With sun bed towels supplied for use on the patio or around the pool.

The apartment also contains a modern fully fitted and equipped kitchen with a hob, oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave & toaster.

The modern bathroom is a neutral colour and has recently been completely refitted with a white bathroom suite.

There are 2 leather sofas, chairs and dining area in the spacious lounge, which leads out to the patio. Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and contain twin beds, with plenty of wardrobes and drawer space. Bedroom one leads directly out to the patio. There is an additional put you up bed for a 5th person if required.

Attractions: From Parque Santiago 1 you can choose to visit the tourist towns of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas for boat trips, golf and Siam Aqua Park. Rent a car and the whole of the beautiful island is available to you. A visit to Mount Teide is a must, and you can enjoy the beautiful North coast with a visit to the Loro Parque.

Chris was accommodating from start to finish. The flat is lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. Excellent location. Lovely and quiet at night for the children and clean and tidy throughout. Great communication and great holiday. Highly recommended

Great location

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Las Americas, so spoilt for choice for restaurants and bars. You can walk through the complex and exit right in front of the sea.

Very easy to book, and the whole experience of booking was far less stressful than some other apartments we have booked. Good communication from the owner with really clear instructions. Keys were via a keysafe, so didn't have to waste the first hour of our holiday being 'met' by some greeter and going through a list of rules and regulations like some apartments have!

Always plenty of hot water, and sufficient towels.

Nice outdoor seating area, with sun loungers, although gets the sun earlier on in the day. Lots of little solar powered fairy lights in the trees come on at night, and it looks really pretty.

Bar/cafe at the complex which is very reasonably priced. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Beer came in a frozen glass which was lovely as weather was really hot that day.

Decent sized pool although I don't swim so didn't use it.

Layout of the apartment is good, although kitchen is quite small even for an apartment. However, we ate out the most of the time. Full cooked breakfast in restaurants by the complex were only €3 so not worth the bother of trying to cook myself.

Small Supermarket is located next door, so really handy and it does lovely bread of a morning which is still warm.

Loads of wardrobe space, and lots of hangers which was good.

Wifi and having British television channels was excellent.

Had a lovely holiday and thought the apartment was excellent value for money. The only criticism I would make, and I'm hard pressed to find any criticism, was that there was a bit of a smell of drains in the bathroom. Not sure why, and if that's more to do with the complex, or whether the cover needs re-fitting.

Clean, Comfortable, Great Location, Helpful Owners

Firstly, the owner's description is spot-on. The apartment is clean and comfortable with a spacious and airy living area, well laid out kitchen and pleasant bedrooms which are conveniently placed on either side of the bathroom. With the amenities included, it is a real home from home. The patio is a very attractive sun-trap and a pleasant place to sit out and eat or just relax.

One nice feature of the apartment is the door-way. This has both a lockable grill gate as well as a solid door. This enables the door to be left open during the day if you're there, but with the gate locked and so allow a cooling breeze through the whole apartment in a secure fashion. The bedroom by the front door has high set and grilled windows enabling the windows to be left open without compromising security or privacy – this, with the fans in the apartment, creates a much more pleasant environment than air-conditioning would have done.

The complex is beautifully maintained and the pool area is very clean. The pool is plenty long enough for 'keep-fit' swimming and is shaped in a way that effectively segregates the shallow part from the deep area, making it easy to supervise children in a safe way. The poolside cafe is well priced and has good service. It is handy for a breakfast if you don't want to make it yourself.

Adjacent to the front of the block is a palm-tree-lined pathway that leads after about a couple of minutes stroll to the seafront from where you can enjoy watching the surfers and the spectacular sunsets. The block is in an area with many lively bars and a good choice of eateries and shops around. There are a couple of supermarkets conveniently located very near the complex and the staff almost all speak English.

Although not essential, it is well worth hiring a car at the airport. The cost of this is not much more that the combined airport transfers cost and you can drive up into the hills and mountains and up the east coast, all as an added bonus. The way up to the volcano is a fabulous drive, but not one for a nervous driver.

I thoroughly recommend this apartment.
