About Pam Hodgson
We are the Hodgson family and have been holidaying in Moraira since 2005. We have now realised our dream by buying our own villa in the beautiful El Portet area of Moraira. We have really busy lives so we enjoy the tranquility of our villa and love eating out in the great restaurants nearby.
Pam Hodgson purchased this Villa in 2015
Why Pam Hodgson chose Arnella
We knew this was the villa for us as soon as we walked in and saw the fantastic views across the valley. The villa was also built by the most renowned architect/builders in the area and has lots of Ibizan style features, giving stylish contemporary feel. The villa manages to provide tranquility and privacy whilst being conveniently located for the amenities of El Portet and Moraira.
What makes this Villa unique
Casa Leonora benefits from an internal lift between floors providing ease of access to the lower floor where the living space opens up directly onto the naya, patio and pool areas. The villa had a new kitchen installed and additional garden landscaping carried out in 2016 which was overseen by the original architect and therefore retains his vision for the property.

Well, what can I say. The Villa was absolutely fantastic, had everything you could possibly want. El Portet is the most beautiful place and is a little gem, very traditional, relaxing, quiet and lovely places to eat on the beach. A car would be essential as it is quite a walk up, not bad going down. Moraira has plenty of beautiful places to eat and lovely shops and beautiful Marina. Wouldn't hesitate to book this beautiful villa which has plenty of character. Thank you Pam, we had the best time.
Beautiful Villa, stunning pool and location
We enjoyed a peaceful fortnight at this lovely Villa. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances.
Fantastic dining area and BBQ area in the outside naya with a wonderful decked terrace by the infinity pool with loungers and a shower.
The view is beautiful and rural and the whole area around is quiet with smart established villas.
The Villa manager was easily contactable and the visiting pool and garden staff helpful and courteous.
We would thoroughly recommend.
We would agree that a car is essential.
We have been to Moraira on 4 previous holidays, just love the place! It's now perfect as we have found a great villa. Everything is excellent -the BBQ, the pool, the accommodation are all just great. Very high quality. Wouldn't change anything. All adds up to a great holiday in a lovely part of Spain.
Fabulous holiday in a beautiful location
We've just come back from an amazing holiday in this beautiful villa. The villa was spacious and airy, well equipped - there was everything you could possibly need for your holiday. Our highlight was the pool which had lovely views - it was so peaceful and private too. We enjoyed walks down to the beach at El Portet where there was paddle boarding, kayaking etc (great value €10 an hour!). We also visited nearby Moraira. Moraira is a perfect mix of beach, restaurants, shops and harbour whilst remaining small and unspoilt. It was our first visit to the area and we were not disappointed! We can't wait to return.
All in all a very good villa most requirements fulfilled.
A very pleasant property outlook good in a good area weather superb.
No problems encountered.
Superb as ever!
This really is a perfect villa in a great location!
Our second visit and it really didn't disappoint - beautiful modern villa, fantastic setting and gardens; love the walk into El Portet and then along the coast road into Moraira (all downhill which is welcome)
Moraira is the most exclusive and pleasant place to stay whilst on holiday on the Costa Blanca. It still has all of the charm of a small picturesque fishing town nestled between mountains and vineyards, but at the same time has grown to offer almost everything to everyone who stays here.
Moraira offers a huge variety of restaurants and bars to cater for every taste and budget. Whether you are looking for typical Spanish cuisine or international cuisine like Chinese, Indian, Italian or Mexican then Moraira offers it all in style.
Moraira's two main beaches are made up of clean, golden sand which gradually slips into the sea providing safe and pleasant swimming conditions which are watched over by the beach lifeguards.
The Friday market is held opposite the town centre and offers an excellent opportunity to purchase fresh produce as well as leather goods, clothes, jewellery and pottery. There is also a fresh fish market held in the marina every morning except Sunday.
For those with small children there is an excellent permanent small fairground. There are many small rides mostly suitable for the young but even adults can join in on the bumper cars.
Just walking into Moriara is a rewarding pursuit in itself - the central market square has many places to sit down and eat and drink. Or may may wish to walk along the beach front and take in the the lovely view over the yacht club.
For the more active Moraira offers an excellent array of sports to suit all, including jet ski hire, sea kayaking and paddle boarding, deep sea fishing, tennis courts, a golf course, mini golf and mountain bike hire. For children there are specially designed park areas to play safely in and around the town.
Ultimately, whether you choose to lounge by the pool or on the beach, eat at one of the many restaurants or visit other nearby towns, villages or attractions we know your holiday in Moraira will offer you what you are looking for and entice you back year after year.
