DILLON BEACH IS WONDERFUL BECAUSE, ONLY AND HOUR FROM SAN FRANCISCO IT FEELS AS THOUGH YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE...IT REMINDS US OF NEW ZEALAND.....AND YET THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO...PERFECT! WE HAVE RECENTLY SETTLED ON A NEARBY RANCH SO NO LONGER STAY AT CAMP DAVID. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME WE HAVE LISTED IT FOR RENT.

WE FIRST CAME TO DILLON BEACH AT A FRIEND'S INVITATION. WE ESPECIALLY LIKED THE OLD VILLAGE AND WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND THIS LOT AND WERE ABLE TO BUILD CAMP DAVID. WE RETURNED EACH WEEKEND AND SOMETIMES FOR HOLIDAYS.

What makes this house unique

WHAT I LOVE BEST ABOUT THE HOME ITS THAT IT ALLOWS ME TO REST: READING A BOOK ON THE SOFA WARMED BY THE SUN, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO FALL ASLEEP.....ALL THE STRESS IS GONE. WE HAVE LOVED ENTERTAINING HERE AND NOW OUR GRANDCHILDREN HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH DILLON BEACH.

Very relaxing and comfortable

My husband, two kids and dog stayed here 3 nights. The house is exactly how it looks in the pictures! Very comfortable beds, lots of linens, washer/dryer and laundry soap included! The kitchen had plenty of dishes and all the things needed to cook with. I loved the afternoon sun shining through the windows in the living room. It made it even more cozy and relaxing. This house is one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in! I loved the collection of books and movies. We would stay here again. Thank you, Susan, for sharing your wonderful home with us!

Close to the beach

This was the perfect size for 4 people. The bedrooms were fairly large and bathrooms had been updated, although guest bath had one small shower and master bath had no shower but a large bathtub. Living area and kitchen are upstairs with a lot of natural light and air flows through really well. Balconies in the front and the back, the back one looks directly into neighboring house. We really enjoyed our stay here, easy walk to the beach or the cafe. Verizon works best here. We would definitely stay here again!

Immaculate!

I always fear the dreaded "old smell" towels, bedding, house, etc. , when I stay at an unknown place. I must say this home was immaculate, over the top clean, well stocked and roomy. There were plenty of towels, extra linen (we didn't need), the beds were comfy, clean, and wonderful. Petaluma is about 30 minute drive which is a fun town to visit, eat, etc. Dillon Beach is a few blocks away, they charge for parking, but we explained we were only there for a short while so they let us park free. Lots of doggies running on the beach, this home is dog friendly which makes it nice for fur baby owners. They supplied tissue, toilet paper, some kitchen spices and condiments. If I have a complaint, which we really were okay-it would be they needed a better non stick pan for eggs, and a bedroom TV would have been used if one was in there. I would definitely come back, I highly recommend this lovely home. I just can't get over how clean it was-their housekeeper needs a raise!!! Lol

Lovely location and perfect little touches!

We loved our quiet stay in Dillon Beach. The house is just a short walk to the beach, and the front deck was a lovely morning coffee spot with a view of the ocean in the distance. House is bright, comfortable and there were lots of nice little touches (charcoal in the grill, dog toys, games, laundry soap, brand new in-the-plastic sponge). Would come back in a heartbeat!

Prefect getaway!

We enjoyed the spacious and clean home, and the fact that it was so close to the beach. The place was sunny, bright and well stocked. Our dog loved running around freely on dillon beach!
