Newly remodeled rental suite in duplex with brand new queen bed with high quality mattress and comfortable IKEA sofa sleeper (double) for additional sleeping options. A twin chair bed is also available upon request. All linens are provided.
Fully equipped kitchen just bring your groceries and enjoy home cooked meals. Grill also available for use. Shared laundry with brand new washer/dryer is available for your use with access from your suite. New Ductless A/C& Heat unit with separate temperature control from other unit.
Rental suite is the back unit of an owner occupied duplex with a separate entrance and a private patio area and off-street parking for 1 vehicle and more spots available upon request. Enjoy the peaceful residential area that is just a block off Gulf Blvd and numerous restaurants/bars and other local spots. Just a short distance away is John's Pass and Marina. The beautiful beach with a walking/biking trail along the beach is only 1-2 blocks away. GREAT LOCATION - privacy but close to everything!
I am originally from Minnesota and have lived in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area for 8 years. I just purchased a home in Treasure Island and converted it from a single-family home back into a duplex. I am a Finance Manager for a business with it's corporate offices in Tampa area. This is my first experience as a landlord and am excited to share my home with you and look forward to meeting you and hearing about your stay.

I love the water but the drive and parking never appealed to me. So the opportunity to live here has been amazing. I love walking over and watching the sunset - Absolutely Breathtaking!
This property allows for rest, relaxation and privacy. But it also is so close to everything that you can also be extremely social. It's the best of both worlds.
The neighborhood is mostly residential and quiet. This is not the location for you if you are looking for a party house. I expect tenants to be respectful to the neighbors and attempt to keep noise levels reasonable.
Our stay was just what we needed after a long winter in Atlantic Canada. The apartment is nicely decorated, clean as a whistle, great for two people and very private. Parking is close to your unit.
You should take a little wagon to haul your chairs to the beach as it is under a 10 minute walk to the water’s edge on the golf. Close to Publix and Walgreens as well as restaurants. You can walk everywhere.

Just he right size for vacation rental..not too big..easy care..nicely updated and easy access to laundry.The location is fantastic..easy walk to beach..walking distance to shopping & restaurants. Quiet and private! Lovely and accomodating owner!!!
We had a great time in Treasure Island. We travelled with our 7 year old son and felt really comfortable in this accomodation which is perfect for self-catering holidays. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and a real high-quality full-size bed. Our son slept on an extendible couch which was absolutely sufficient. The owner was really kind and cordial and always disposed to help us if whe had questions or needed some advice. You can reach the beach of Treasure Island in a few minutes by foot. Treasure Island is a real good starting point for all those who appreciate to go on excursion at the south-west-coast of Florida. We visited the coastal strip from Sarasota up to Dunedin as well as St. Petersburg, Tampa and finally Miami and were very fascinated ! The beaches are gorgeous, we recommend to visit particularly those of Anna Maria Island and Caladesi Island - what a dream ! We will surely come back one day, a pity that first of all we have to traverse the Atlantic Ocean at each time .... ;-)) The really only thing which was a little bit "bothersome" during our stay were the noisy air-conditioning-system. On the one hand we appreciated the refrigerant effect, on the other hand it sometimes kept you from going to sleep or from passing a quiet relaxing morning or evening on the little patio behind the appartment. It seems to be a matter of habit - especially for Europeans who are not used to this kind of temperatures .
This is the perfect size space for our most recent trip to the gulf of Florida!
With terrazzo floors throughout, the design elements couldn't have been any nicer!
(And I am a seasoned traveler, a designer / builder to boot, so.... the bar is set high!)
The listing is very accurate, but a bit modest! The bed and bedding was very nice, shutters allow in morning light or not, as you wish.
There is an in line airconditioner, worked great!
Full kitchen with everything you might need, including dishwasher...
The living room / seating area is super comfy with an area rug to soften the terrazzo floors, sofa (with additional sleeping) and easy chair.
TV size and service fantastic.
AND, to top it all off, the bathtub (pink!) is cast iron and very nice....
Typically I won't rent a space that does not have a special tub, and in this case, I just figured that I would not have one, until we arrived!

Michelle, the owner, couldn't have been more accomidating or friendly.... She decorated our peninsula "chimney" with stocking for our arrival Xmas eve!

All rent pricing is subject to change until reservation confirmed. Taxes are subject to change and will be based on rates in effect during rental period. Tax rate for 2016 is 13% (7% state/local, 6% tourist development tax) effective 1/1/16.
Check in/out times: generally check in is in the evening and check out in the morning of departure date. Owner will attempt to work with your schedule.
For Jan-Apr rental time frame - a portion of the upfront deposit may be non-refundable due to this being the peak rental season. The remaining portion of the upfront deposit will be subject to owner's ability to re-rent at same financial terms. This will be discussed on a case-by-case basis and owner intends to be reasonable but also protect owner's income stream for this peak season.
6 month rentals available from May to December if property is available. Significant tax savings for 6 month rentals. Contact owner to discuss rates and terms.
