Outdoor lovers paradise! Perfectly situated home is located on a point and takes advantage of sunrise views while being protected by afternoon heat. Relax under the romantic Jasmine covered arbor tucked away at a corner of the 365' shoreline or eat pizza baked in the outdoor brick oven or steak on the grill. Incredible sunrises, tranquil setting, large shoreline and deep big water.
Expansive views of the lake, secluded retreat yet ultimate location for boaters and just minutes from shopping, restaurants and Trump National Golf Club
It is a beautiful house with a variety of activities or leisure time. There is something for everyone no matter what age. If you want to fish, boat, relax, play games or just have family time. It is a very large home with plenty of room for the entire family. There is enough space that everyone can have their own room and the children's room is very quaint and cozy for the children and they feel like they are in a club house. I would definitely recommend this property for families to get together for relaxation or fun.
If you are looking for a beautiful, quite and peaceful home on the Lake, I would highly recommend this vacation home for you. It was an amazing stay for me and my family. There were several spacious bedrooms with comfortable bedding. Also there was a very large living space with large flat screen TV and pool table which was very enjoyable. To the view....AMAZING!!! Me and my family could not have chosen a better vacation home with a better view than what this home has to offer. My favorite part was awakening each morning with an outstanding view of the lake, better yet a huge patio which you could enjoy your morning coffee with a nice warm fireplace. Overall this home was very satisfactory for me and my family and I definitely will be staying at this home again in the future.
Wow! The was the perfect vacation and perfect location. The property is located in the heart of Mooresville which is geared towards tourists with lots of restaurants and shopping. We were close to everything. The children got to ride horses and goo to the zoo and the adults got to golf. Queens landing close by offered sunset cruises on the lake which the entire family enjoyed. And of course we can't forget the Go-karting for young and old and NASCAR museum as NASCAR is what this area is known for. It was easy to get to the house just 30 minutes from the airport CLT and also enjoyed uptown Charlotte 30 min away.
The property itself was perfect, nicely situated on a peninsula and private gravel road with incredible sunsets. A herron landed on the property. It was an amazing sight. The inside was comfortable and clean and had a lounge as well as another family room. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen and there was ample beds and bedrooms for the entire family. The dock was in deep water even with the water being alittle low this year. It fits a forty foot boat. We loved the time we had and thank the owners and managers for paying attention to detail. It showed. Cant wait to come back next year!
Our multi-family group really enjoyed our stay at Zen Gardens. The best part of the house is the feeling that you are absolutely right on the lake. The house is in a small cove, but the cove doesn't have a cramped feeling, and you look out directly on water with lots of lake frontage. We appreciated that beach towels were provided -- they are bulky to bring from overseas! The owners provided a few snacks on our arrival, which was a nice welcoming touch. There were a couple of maintenance issues during our stay, but we notified the owners and they were very responsive. The only warning I would give potential renters, is that to access the house you drive down a gravel drive with two hair pin turns. It was not a problem for us, but just nice to know in advance. We would highly recommend this lake house.
The house was not very clean when we arrived. There were camel crickets in the downstairs bathroom, dead worms in the living room floor, cob webs all over house (inside and out), leftover beer in the fridge from the previous tenants, the floors in the kitchen were covered in dog hair, the dishes were put up but dusty so we had to clean everything before we used it. As soon as we got there I smelled a gas leak so the local gas company had to be called out and sure enough, there was a leak and we were told not to use the back right burner because a part needed to be ordered. The second night while we were out on the deck, we were greeted by a copperhead snake so the next day, wildlife had to be called to the house. Make sure you get the right address to the house because I was originally advised the address was 4880 Howard Lane therefore I had planned all of our events around that address and we had intended on taking Uber to dinner one night to Chilfire Grill which would have only been 5 minutes from the original address I was told. Chillfire Grill ended up being actually 30 minutes from the house and unfortunately I had already put on the invitations that this was where dinner would be and we had others coming from out of town to meet there so the Uber costed me an additional $200 to transport 10 people in two Uber's back and forth to dinner. We couldn't get in the hot tub because the fear of snakes and not to mention the Japaneese Hornets flying around everywhere. There are two bedrooms that have king beds however the master bedroom is not one of them which was really strange. Why wouldn't you put a king size bed in the master bedroom? Communication with the HomeAway rep, Catharina was good. There are things you just cannot control but she handled them well.
What an enjoyable week! This house is set up for total relaxation. Enjoyed the early morning sun rises on the deck and the evening marsh mellow roasts in the out door fire place. House easily accommodated an extended family of 7 adults and three kids. Floating dock and kayak made for great swimming and fishing. Pool table, games and the many TVs made for fun relaxing evenings. Large kitchen with huge glass table was great for meals and gatherings. Welcome basket and watermelon in the fridge upon arrival was a nice touch. The kids enjoyed feeding the coy fish. The outdoor grill was clean and ready and the indoor stove was well equipped with all the pans, utensils and bowls needed. Only recommendations would be to fix the lights over the stove and add more window coverage to the upstairs Master bed room, the sun made it very warm. Other than that, we had a great week here and would have no qualms about renting it again. Thanks!!
