About the property

1 bdrm w/private bath within our home. Easy access to pool and beach!

This B&B can accommodate up to 2 adults and one child 12 yrs of age or younger.

We no longer rent our entire unit but host in a Bed and Breakfast fashion using our guest bedroom. This lovely bedroom offers a very comfy queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress sure to give you a great night's sleep. For your convinence and privacy, you have a full bathroom within the room. You will also be able to use the common areas, which include garage parking, living room, kitchen, laundry, downstairs balcony, and pool. We are occupying master bedroom, master bathroom, and master bedroom balcony, which are not included in your rental. Beach access is quick and easy. You can be on the beach one minute after walking out the door! Your rental also includes our beach towels, beach equipment, such as umbrella, tent, beach chairs, and other assorted beach items.

*****PLEASE NOTE We never like turning down a booking. We have met so many incredible people. However, we can not accomadate more than 2 adults and one child aged 12 or younger. Wish we could, but it's just not possible.

About Susan Cumming

We are a married couple enjoying early retirement; Susan as a R.N. and Tim from the technical field. Tim is from the Ct shore, Susan grew up in the deep South, and somehow we found each other in middle Tn! We are beach people!! We find the beach very relaxing and rejuvenating. As of May 2016 this is now our permanent residence. We are enjoying hosting rental guests in a B&B fashion, and want each of them to have awesome beach vacation experiences.

Why Susan Cumming chose North West Florida

We spent many months looking at properties. We love this condo with its space (1600+ sq ft) and its floor plan. It feels like home, not a rental! We love being so close to the sugar white sands and the blue and green waters of the gulf! Access to the pool and the beach could not be any easier. It's not as busy and crowded as a high rise. We love it here which is why 18 months after purchase we made it our permenent home!

Nothing beats sitting out on our balcony with morning coffee watching the dolphin's swim by!

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is full of windows and natural light. It is in excellent condition. Starboard Village is as close to the beach and gulf as you can get. Access to beach and pool is quick and simple. We love having a 1/2 bath downstairs so we don't have to climb stairs back and forth to a bathroom from the living area like some units we have rented. The large bedrooms being on a seperate level than the living area gives privacy, as does each bedroom having a private bath. Two balconies give beautiful views and an awesome place to enjoy morning coffee, meals, conversation, dolphin viewing, or quiet reflection.

Ft Pickens Rd is on the quieter end of the island but very easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping, and other beach activities. A trolley circulates the island and provides access to shopping, restaurants, and other places of interest on the island if you would rather leave your car in the garage. Peg Leg Pete's, a very popular restaurant, is an easy walk from our Starboard Village condo. The other restaurants, bars, and shopping on the island are approximately one mile away and accessed easily by car or trolley. Each end of the island is federal designated National Seashore. There are miles of undeveloped natural beaches, that include pavilions with grills and beach walkovers. If you want privacy on a beach you WILL find that on this island!!

Notes:
Light Breakfast is included; such as Coffee, cereal, milk, juice, fresh fruit, yogurt etc. Starboard Village is a low rise condominium community. Much calmer, quieter, and less busy than high rises. We are on the top 2 floors of our building (floors 3 and 4). We have beach chairs, floats (adult and child), buckets and shovels, umbrella, and other beach supplies in the garage. These are for our guests as well as for us and our family.

Loved it!!!!

My son and I had a great time!! Susan and Tim are very sweet people and so accommodating right down to the cereal that my son likes for breakfast. They made us feel very comfortable and right at home. The place was very clean and very tastefully decorated! Everything was absolutely perfect for our vacation. The beach was amazing and we were able to use all of their beach toys/chairs. We have made new friends and I would absolutely recommend renting with them!

Wonderful Experience!

We loved staying in this beachside B&B! It was perfect for our needs. Tim and Susan are warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even took us on a shell hunting expedition and gave us a tour of Ft Pickens! The condo is right on the beach and Tim set the beach tent up for us daily. The condo's interior is lovely, up to date, clean, and very welcoming. There is plenty to do on the island when we could tear ourselves away from the beautiful white sand beach! We will be back!

Joe Patti's in Pensacola is THE place to purchase fresh seafood to cook. Don't miss it, it's a fascinating place!

Be sure to check the schedule for the Blue Angels, both for their practices during the week and for Blue Angels Week in July.

Each end of the island is National Seashore; undeveloped and beautiful. You can go for miles enjoying the natural beauty of undeveloped beach. Pavilions and beach walkovers to the gulf are plentiful.
