Why Leah Fitzpatrick chose East Boothbay
I have been in love with Maine since I first saw a photograph in my fifth grade geography book! The history and landscape are beautiful. Once we met the people of this region we knew we had to live here. We had been looking at real estate resources for many months. One morning my husband said 'honey, I think I found something in Boothbay but I don't know if you will like it' One look at the beautiful sunsets and gorgeous water view and I said ' Let's call and book a flight!' As we drove from Portland to Boothbay we were more and more enthralled with the region and the beauty and the food as we stopped to eat the lobster rolls!! We were certain that it couldn't get any better. As we drove through Wiscassete (The Prettiest Village in Maine) we were touched by the quaintness of this village and the beautiful Sheepscott River, once we entered Boothbay and drove past the General Store there was no stopping!! We made it down Ocean Point road and turned onto the road into Waters Edge just at Sunset!! Wow! What a sight! We were home!! Now, we always make certain we get there in time to purchase our groceries and wine at the grocery store on the way in to be able to get back home in time for the first sunset of our stay. We never get tired of the music, dancing, wonderful food, outdoor activities, and site seeing. We have made many friends in our short time in this area. We have explored the nearby towns of Bath, Brunswick, Wiscassete, Edgecomb, Damariscotta, Camden, Hollowell, and Castine but always are so happy to return to this very quiet and serene place on the water. Ahhh Heaven!!

Very clean and friendly.
Great spot for a couple.
Quiet and peaceful. Clean and updated room. Off the beaten path but less than 10 minutes from Boothbay Harbor. Perfect for my wife and myself.
Great location and nicely furnished and maintained property. Totally enjoyed our stay! Would definitely consider returning.
Clean and basic, but lacking in some important amenities!
This is a sweet, cozy, basic little apartment. It is in a good area of town surrounded by other apartments. The bedding and the general areas are clean, however, when we arrived that night, there was NO amenities to be found. No shampoo, no soap, nothing. The only thing available was a little hand soap so we had to shower with that. On top of that, we were left with only a quarter roll of toilet paper which is obviously not enough for a 3 night stay for 3 people. We had to purchase our own shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper! I find that to be a huge problem and it was disappointing to say the least.
Thank you for your kind words! This is a great community of privately owned cottages and condos on Linekin Bay just a few miles from the harbor. I apologize if you were unable to find the extra toilet paper. The house keeper places this on the shelves behind the shower. A quick call and I can provide this information to our guests or have more delivered to your door. As this is a privately owned vacation rental, we do not supply personal hygiene products and they are not listed in the amenities section. Thank you for bringing it to my attention and I have now added a note in this section so future guests will be informed.

We loved our stay. The apartment was clean and well kept and was exactly like the description. It had everything we needed. It was close and conevenient to Booth Bay Harbor but far enough away to seem like we were on our own tiny little island.
Well kept oceanfront property.
As expected. Would have loved more than bathroom window to open.
Thank you for your kind words. There is a small window that opens to the left of the picture window at the front of the condo. The blind is also separated for these two windows to accommodate the use of this functional window. There is also a fan option on the air conditioner. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will add this information to my quest book to assist other travelers.
