TLC Needed...Update Decor

The view and beach access were spectacular. But until this unit is updated, I would not be interested in renting 101 again. The wi-fi was not good and the tv remotes were not easy to work with. Closed Caption did not work. There was no dining table only bar stools at the countertop. The reclining sofa and chairs were very comfortable. Basically, this unit has a hodgepodge of furniture and accessories. Strange the owners placed the TV on a low stand on the floor instead of on an eye level stand. The decor in this house resembled nothing of a beach lifestyle! The unit needs a thorough cleaning...hairs in the bathrooms and dirty baseboards. The tile floors felt dirty. Also found out this unit is for sale. The Realty company showed the unit twice during our stay. An inconvenience having to make sure our valuables were secured. The Realty company also made the excuse that updates had not been made by the owners because they were selling. Maybe this unit will get some TLC by new owners!

We are pleased you enjoyed the gulf front location and spectacular beach, but most importantly, we want to address your concerns. Had we been made aware of any issues with the wifi or TV remotes, we would have been happy to resolve immediately. The pictures online show the decor accurately, and we are happy you found the living room furniture comfortable. This is a very nice unit and has never before had a complaint. However, we will mention the low TV stand to the owner. Please know that we will address the housekeeping complaint as well, and had we known, we would have sent the housekeeper to clean the unit again right away. We take housekeeping very seriously and have no tolerance for our vacation rentals being anything less than spotless. You are correct, this unit is for sale, and we are very sorry for any inconvenience the two showings caused you and your guests. In regards to your comment about the unit not being updated because it is for sale, you were misinformed. This is absolutely not the case. It is in the best interest of any homeowner to keep a property as up to date as possible when that property is up for sale. Rest assured proper attention will be paid to your concerns. Despite the above, we are happy you enjoyed your vacation at the beach. We hope to have you back again in the near future!

Only partially wheelchair accessible

Stayed in this unit several years ago with my sisters and we all loved it. The parking garage and elevator are a definite plus. Loved having our coffee on the balcony in the morning and our glass of wine in the evening while watching the sunset. We also had some issues with the Wi-Fi at the time, that was bothersome, but, even that is not my concern with this lovely condo. I would choose this place time and again, were it not for the showers. My family member has mobility issues, but, getting around the condo is not a problem. The problem is getting in and out of the bathtubs. The master bath is awkward even for someone without a disability. If there were a walk-in or stand-alone shower, with handrails, then this would be the place I would love to stay over and over. In fact, I often check the site to see if any of the units in this property have updated their bathrooms to include a walk-in shower. Hoping someone will see this review and think about doing so, in order to make this truly wheelchair accessible. :) It is a wonderful place for those without mobility issues. It's affordable, very comfortable and in the perfect location!

Great property

Property was clean with a great view and perfect location! Very sparsely stocked for cooking in the condo and the wi-fi was terrible. It would only work if you were in the master bedroom. Since there was no working phone in the condo, if your cell phone service is spotty at the beach having the wifi working is greatly appreciated. But would definitely stay there again.

Fun, Fun, Fun

What a location! You hear the surf from every window in this condo. From morning coffee on the deck to sunning on the sand, this place has it all. How great is it to vacation with the Gulf of Mexico at your toes? The unit itself had everything to make our stay comfortable: appliances, comfy beds, all the dishes and glasses you would ever need, lot's of TVs, washer/dryer, and to top it off, a killer view. Surrounding Santa Rosa Beach are other great places of interest that are minutes away: Sandestin, Destin, Grayton Beach, Seaside and, of course, "Stinky's". Highly recommend this place!
