AN OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY. Palace Street is immediately next to Buckingham Palace, the Royal Mews. This is an outstanding flat. The St. James’s, Belgravia area of London is without question the finest London address. Your neighbor on one side is the Queen and all the beautiful properties on the other sides of the flat are also lovely. You are just across the street form the Royal Mews and The Queen’s Gallery. The famous facade of Buckingham Palace is just around the corner–PERFECT. St. James Park is two minutes up the road, and The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey are 10 minutes from the property. For those who will enjoy a 15-minute walk, you can be to Trafalgar Square in one direction and Green Park in the other. You will be to Victoria Station in five minutes. An excellent sandwich shop is moments away, and the Queen’s Gift Shop is on the ground floor. Restaurants and grocery stores are everywhere. Taxis are always available just downstairs. Victoria Station Tube Station is five minutes away, and Green Park Tube Station is 12 minutes from the property. In all regards, this location is perfect.

The property on Palace Street is on the second floor with LIFT. The very nice LIVING ROOM has a large black leather sofa with a matching leather foot rest, TV, and other comfortable seating–very nice. The MASTER BEDROOM has a good UK King size bed with ample storage. This bedroom has an EN SUITE BATHROOM with nice shower stall, wash hand basin, and loo–all marble finished. The SECOND BEDROOM has two single beds which can be setup as a UK Super King (by request) with good storage. The SECOND BATHROOM has a tub with shower, wash hand basin, and loo. The very nice KITCHEN has electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer. Enjoy the photos of this very nice flat positioned in an exceptional location. If I were planning a trip to London, I would definitely select this property. High speed wireless internet is included. Property is designated non-smoking.

Serendipity

Our visit began perfectly with the driver and van suggested by London Connection. After an overnight flight and early arrival it was a pleasant, hassle free way to begin.

Ricardo met us at the flat and explained everything from the use of the appliances, supplies, internet, and contact numbers. The cleaner was busy readying the flat, leaving it immaculately clean. Ricardo followed up during our stay. The building manager, Igor, was always available for help, and directions. He worked ceaselessly keeping the lobby clean and collecting the trash daily.

Everything is well planned and stocked for visitors in the kitchen. Hair driers and umbrellas are abundant, too. The furnishings are attractive, ample seating, and good lighting for reading. Everything is thought out for the visitors including guide books and reading material. Do look in the sitting room cupboards for these things.

The Waitrose market is about a three minute walk (ask for the shortcut) and there is a small mall featuring a Boots, a small Marks and Spencer's, tube station, shops and restaurants. Again, ask someone for the shortcut.

There are several cafes steps away, a good Italian restaurant in the mall, Zizzi's, and the Phoenix down the street for a tasty burger.

We hired the driver and van for our departure which, again, was a wise choice as he calculated the traffic and weather allowing us arrive in good time for our morning departure.

I (we) highly recommend this flat. Actually, we would like to book again for our next trip.

Wonderful flat in a very convenient location!

We just stayed for 6 nights in this flat and we really enjoyed it.

The location is very convenient with the Victoria Tube Station a 5 minute walk from the front door.

Lots of restaurants and shopping close by. It’s an easy walk to Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, and many more sites.

It has all the comforts of home and so much better than staying in a hotel.

You’ll get used to the creaking wooden floors (part of the charm) and radiant heating.

There’s great closet space and dresser drawers to unpack during your stay.

The washer-dryer combo is very handy as is the dishwasher. The oven took a little Googling to figure out how to use as it’s different from those at home.

Our driver to/from the airport was excellent.

We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely flat in Westminster

Comfortable flat, nicely appointed, located just a few steps from Buckingham Palace. A great spot from which to explore the Westminster area. Staff was very helpful. Twin bedroom quite small for two adults with luggage but still comfortable. Would definitely recommend this flat and stay here again myself!

Great apartment

It was a great location although a little hard to find on the first day. It had a everything that you need. The master bath is tiny but has what you need. The other bathroom is spacious and nicely appointed. It was quiet for sleeping. We ate at nearby restaurants and bought food at the Waitrose store for breakfast. The apartment was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and were able to walk everywhere.
