We bought this lovely two bedroom river side apartment in February 2016 as a second home and somewhere we could use as a coastal retreat, enjoy the local scenery and more importantly relax. The apartment has fantastic riverside views and from the lounge or bedroom watch the North Yorkshire Steam Train on its daily visits to Whitby railway station. In addition the apartment has an undercroft secure parking space. The apartment has been fully redecorated with a new king size bed in the master bedroom a new oak dining table and chairs in the dining area plus a 40" television, DVD player and new leather settees in the lounge

We bought this property to use on a monthly basis as a weekend retreat. When we are not using the apartment we decided that we would like to invite other like minded individuals to stay at the property.

What makes this Apartment unique
We visit Whitby on a regular basis as we live in North Derbyshire and decided that we would buy somewhere close to home for the occasional weekend away. We wanted to be close to the town but far enough out for it to be quiet and relaxing, we wanted to be able to park our car without having to look for a parking space in Whitby. We found our apartment with 2 bedrooms, overlooking the river Esk so we can watch the tidal changes and wildlife from our lounge and bedroom window. We have a secure undercroft designated parking space

Lovely modern apartment
The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and well furnished. We loved being able to look out the patio doors over the river and seeing the trains. It was also great being able to walk into Whitby which we also loved.

Wonderful, relaxing holiday
Great apartment, ideally situated 10 mins walk from main parts of Whitby. Overlooking the River Esk, lots to see and do. Loved watching the steam trains go by and crabbing just outside of our window! Will definitely return! Highly recommended.
Fantastic homely and comfortable
The appartment was exactly what we hoped for .Great views ,spotlessly clean everything you needed was there and excellent owners in Robert and Wendy who were always available if you had any queries.it was in a quiet part of town but only about a ten minute walk to the centre.thank you so much for a lovely holiday and we would have no hesitation in booking the lovely Seahells again
The property was clean and simply and comfortably furnished
We have had no experience of staying in an apartment before, it was lovely to look out of the window and see the river and watch the steam trains passing on the other side. We found the apartment comfortable and equipped with most things we needed for preparing breakfasts, we ate out in the evenings.

Wonderful location - lovely apartment
The apartment was very spacious and well furnished. Great location within easy walking distance of Whitby town which is very quaint and interesting. A reserved underground car parking space was a bonus. Lovely views of the river where wading birds were regular visitors and easily visible from the apartment. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay there again when visiting the area. Thank you!

Excellent Holiday Apartment
Can’t fault the apartment or location. Parking was inconvenient due to some maintenance work being carried out but I assume this was a one off.
Thank you for your feedback. As soon as we found out the Management Company were working on the undercroft parking we advised you and I do agree that having to move your car between 9am and 4pm is annoying but our only option was to cancel your holiday. This is the first time this has happened during our ownership of the apartment and we will pass your comments to the Management Company. We are delighted that you enjoyed the apartment and hope you will return soon.
