We have lived in this home since 1989 and have raised our family here. The original house was built in the 1930's and we completely renovated in 2006.
We are happy to share the Annapolis experience in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay with you and your friends and family!
Jo Lynn & Bob Sheehan purchased this house in 1989

What a perfect place for our company retreat! The home was welcoming, beautifully decorated and immaculate. The well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grilling/dining areas were wonderful for relaxing at the end of the day, and we even utilized the space for the morning portion of our meeting. Although there were many near-by restaurants, we never left the property! The owners were incredibly accommodating, and the welcome note and fresh flowers kicked off our stay on a great note. We will happily refer others to this property. And I bet we'll be back! Thank you so much!

The property is in a very convenient location, easily access to the town and the Naval Academy. The communication with the owner was very smooth and pleasant. The house is very well maintained with large space for small group gathering. We had great experience staying there.
We had a wonderful time staying in this home during a college reunion weekend in Annapolis. The large, open first floor made hosting gatherings for friends easy and fun. The large Living / Dining rooms flow seamlessly into a beautifully manicured and appointed backyard which was a joy to stay in. Plenty of space for friends to chat, play games, enjoy a cup of coffee, etc. The high quality kitchen also makes entertaining a breeze.
The sleeping accommodations in the home were also very nice. The master bedroom was truly a treat for those staying there, with a large and relaxing master bath and balcony overlooking the yard, and the other bedrooms are spacious and distant enough from each other to offer some privacy. The downstairs would be a haven for any guests with children - plush comfortable couches with entertainment options and attached cozy bedroom.
The neighborhood provided easy access to all things Annapolis, but is still a quiet neighborhood that lets its guests unwind and relax as needed. A real gem of a home in Annapolis!
We rented the Sheehan's lovely home the weekend of June 25. We also rented another home closer to downtown as we were too large a family group for one property. The arrangement worked out beautifully! The Shhehan's home is large, open and wonderfully inviting. The back deck and yard opened up the whole house so people could flow easily from one area to another. They have thoughtfully put small seating arrangements throughout the yard so more intimate gatherings can also take place.
Everything was in working order, extremely clean and, most of all, comfortable! Parking was much easier than at the other house we rented. I ordered catering from Whole Foods for both evening meals and it was excellent and so easy. Our family has asked we make this a tradition as Annapolis is so convenient to many of them. Thank you so much JoLynn for working with this Montana girl to make this happen!
This is an amazing home and we had a great stay. We were able to walk downtown for the afternoon and visit some shops and have lunch. The kitchen island is the perfect gathering spot for everyone at breakfast or after dinner. The coffee bar is the perfect example of the owners thinking of every detail in this home to make your stay comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone here. So many bedrooms and bathrooms!
What a lovely home and thoughtful owners. We rented this large home for about a week while attending our daughter's wedding. When we arrived we had a note, fresh flowers, and a bottle of champagne awaiting. The house is spacious and clean. It accommodates many with 4 bedrooms having their own bathroom. The only issue was we had no use of the closets. We had suits and gowns to hang but no closets were available to use. They have a great yard for relaxing and grilling.
The home has plenty of free parking and was within walking distance to downtown.
