About Nick Rossi
Goriano is the family home of my Grandparents.
Nick Rossi purchased this House in 2014
Why Nick Rossi chose Goriano Sicoli
Great location to base travel from. Ryanair has two hub airports, one in Rome and one at Pescara on the Adriatic Sea. Train Italia provides regular direct service from Pescara to Rome with no Train changes. If you like to drive, the trip to Naples directly thru the mountains (rather than Rome, then south along the sea) is fantastic. Venice is directly north along the Adriatic, make a stop in Bologna to visit the worlds oldest University...
What makes this House unique
Train service makes travel from this location easy. There are easy connections to Rome from Goriano's new train station. Quick direct trains to mid-sized cities Avezzano and Sulmona makes visiting the weekly markets, or just exploring possible without a car...

A rustic setting in an ancient, fascinating village
Nick is genuinely passionate about Goriano and its ancient history. He generously supplied us with food, condiments and everything essential for people wishing to self-cater. His house is unusual, quirky and very charming and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
When Nick was unable to be around, he left us in the care of Sandra and Antonio who were warm, friendly and very helpful. We felt like part of two new families (i.e., Nick's and Sandra's).
Nick also left us with plenty of information and choices of places to visit, of which there are many in the region. All in all, an interesting and pleasurable visit!
Sorry I didn't connect with you before you left, I was visiting some long lost relatives in Belgium. Very happy you enjoyed your stay, and visiting your Australia remains high on my bucket-list, so keep an eye out for me...
