About Geri or Rob

(Geri and Robert) we have been using this property for a number of years and when we had the chance to purchase this we jumped at the chance. We are keen to see that everyone is catered for including well behaved pets. I am a keen sea angler and regularly go out in my kayak to fish in and around the harbour. We love walking and enjoying those sea views and no matter what time of year there is always something to catch your breath. Whether it's golden sands at carbis and hayle in the summer or crashing swells into the rocks off porthminster. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do and hope to make your holiday as good as our own. All the best.

The cottage is cosy, warm and has all the things you will need to keep you occupied or just relax and take your mind off things.

What makes this cottage unique

Perfect break

  • 5 of 5

Everything about our stay at Trestenor Cottage was amazing. The cottage is in the perfect location. just a few minutes in foot from shops, beaches , cafes and restaurants. It's small but lovely and was more than adequate for all our needs. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Great communication from Rob and Geri, Rob rang us a couple of days before our holiday and was so helpful , giving us tips on places to go and offering their help with anything we might need. I have never visited Cornwall before and can definately say I will visit again. Especially St Ives ! We would stay at Trestenor cottage again and would recommend to family and friends. Thanks so much Rob and Geri. P.S the use of the garage was a great bonus !

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words. As we always say we like to make sure that everyone who comes to the cottage has a very calm and enjoyable stay. No problem is too hard and we will accommodate any request where reasonable. It's your holiday at the end of the day. We love having great guests at the end of the day. Many thanks Geri and rob

A cosy cottage in an excellent location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped, and is near shops, restaurants and all St Ives' attractions. It makes a good base for walking into St Ives or exploring the surrounding area, but it has limited outdoor space. Having a garage is really useful but it is suitable for smaller cars only. Geri and Rob were excellent hosts and made a real effort to ensure that our stay was trouble-free and enjoyable. We would definitely return.

Beatiful character cottage with a fantastic location. We had such a lovely week and felt it was good value. Parking is such a bonus and the cottage was well equipped with beach supplies and everything you needed really. We look forward to staying there again.

Beautiful cottage

  • 5 of 5

This little cottage is beautiful and so very cosy. Decorated perfectly and bed very comfy. My only criticism would be if I had to have one is they need wine glasses.

Owner's Response: Thank you , we felt sure there are wine glasses in the dresser but we will get it checked and rectified if there isn't straight away. We agree that when your relaxing in the tastefully decorated cosy cottage you feel that wine is almost mandatory 😉We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and st Ives will always be here for you.

Central and cozy

  • 5 of 5

We loved every minute of being in St Ives and this cottage was ideal for the 2 of us and the dog. We were very lucky with the weather and it was great to be able to walk to all beaches in minutes. We came by train and it was only a ten minute walk from the station. The nearest Co-op is a one minute walk away. We did less cooking than usual partly because of all the good restaurants on offer (Hidden Kitchen is fantastic and just down the road) but also because the kitchen is tiny!! Having said that it was fine for preparing simple meals. The cottage is on quite a busy road but it was quiet with the windows shut.
