Enjoyed our stay, quality fixtures and facilities, as with the last place we stayed in (imust be getting older the eye sight not so good) would have liked a taller lamp to make it easier to read in the evening.

Wonderful!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband & I stayed her for 2 nights, June 3-5th. We stayed in the Primrose Cottage & it was wonderful. The cottage is beautiful & very quiet. We were traveling on vacation for 4 weeks & we slept so good here, the bed is very comfortable. It’s about a 15-20 min drive to the town of York. James and his family were very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed watching the calves run & play. Even though it’s a working farm, we never heard anything and there was no smell from the cows, they spent most of the time way out away from the cottages. It is truly beautiful and we wish we had more time to spend there. We would definitely stay here again & would pay more, they could easily get more for this rental!

Comfortable cottage

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed 4 nights here. Helpful and considerate hosts. A well equipped cottage, excellent shower and although there are no wardrobes we managed ok. Not very picturesque but it’s a working farm and it was a good base for exploring the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Beautifully quiet location....perfect

  • 5 of 5

Primrose cottage is in an idyllic remote location, close to York and the surrounding areas. The cottage is well present and has everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to go into the cottage before the allocated time.

We have had a lovely time and were not been disturbed by any activity on the farm 😊

Really lovely place to stay. Thank you.
