Perfect 2 Bedroom Condo with Beachfront Access! SLEEPS 6!

Spacious, comfortable, recently remodeled, and nicely appointed 2 bedroom-2 bath unit. This beautiful space boasts a fantastic VIEW VIEW VIEW of the Gulf of Mexico which can be seen from seen from the living area and guest bedroom. This condo has an uncluttered outdoor balcony with newly installed sliding glass doors. We are walking distance to the largest grocery store, mini golf, restaurants, the Galveston Fishing Pier for fishing. This location also has access to a sparkling clean pool, tennis courts, common washer and dryer access, conference & business center in lobby, 24-hour building security and desk attendant.

Children over the age of 7 are welcome, WiFi enabled, but this is a non-smoking unit! Sorry, no pets! You are just minutes from Moody Gardens, The Historic Galveston Island Strand, Schlitterbahn, and the numerous public access and pocket parks.

This is incredibly affordable and beats any hotel in town, with it's fully equipped kitchen no need to eat out every night! All new appliances and amenities, all you need is your sunscreen and you're ready to go! Did I mention the brand spanking new gorgeous beach across the street!!?

No need to drive anywhere!

As long time visitors to the island, our family has owned a home in Galveston for over 40 years. This was a perfect getaway after many years of renting from time to time; our original home in Taramar Beach was destroyed in Hurrican Alicia in the 1980's. We have enjoyed this condo throughout the years and look forward to hearing about all the wonderful new memories to be made!

What makes this condo unique

The ability to just get away and not mess with the day to day fuss of the rat race makes this condo an oasis. Cool and quiet, it brings all the best of the beach, with few complications. Now, with the outstanding view and beach access just a few steps away, there is no need to look further for the perfect weekend or spring break vacation for you and the family!

We loved the fresh look of the unit and ease of finding the building along the seawall. Our stay was pretty good and you could tell they'd just redone place, especially the kitchen, everything was new. Wasn't super busy and you can see the island starting building new beach across the street which will be nice, but you need to keep your eyes open when you're crossing the street. Cars drive fast and there's not a light or crosswalk.

Overall, we really like the place and if we come back to the island we'd stay again.

Underwhelmed.

The property was dated and needed some deferred maintenance. When we walked in I could hear water running in the main bathroom. The toilet had stuck and was running, splashing water on the floor. I got the toilet to mostly stop gushing but could still hear the water running. I cleaned the floor and called the manager to have someone fix it. She said someone would be there in the morning. I was finally able to jimmy the toilet so it would stop as I wasn't going to listen to running water all night. A maintenance guy showed up the next morning around 10 and I told him I thought it needed all new parts. He returned later that afternoon with a flapper and the toilet still was leaking. Later that afternoon he finally replaced the whole thing. We kept hearing a loud clicking noise when the A/C turned on and I finally tracked it to the furnace closet where the outside metal casing was vibrating metal against metal. I ended up rolling a hand towel and wedging it between the side of the furnace and the door. Other issues included the ceiling light in the main bath being burned out, the bathtub faucet in the master bath dripping, absolutely no overhead lighting in the living room other than one dim decorator lamp by the dining room table. The bedrooms had lamps that did not operate with the wall switch and both closets were filled with clutter and there was no room to hang my clothes and no dresser in the spare bedroom. There were no drapes on the sliders looking out to water so we had to drag the hurricane shutters opened and closed each day to keep the sun out. The rooms overlook a very busy 4 lane road and there was lots of traffic noise, especially Friday and Saturday night so it's truly not a quiet condo as the ad suggests.

On the plus side, the kitchen was remodeled and very nice. It was stocked well with appliances, dishes and cooking implements. The A/C worked well, the pool was nice and the people manning the desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The area had lots of things to do, the restaurants were great and again, everyone we had contact with with very friendly.

It was ok.

Over all it was nice. There were a ew things that did not work like no cable in the 2nd bedroom and some of the light switches bit otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

easy to check in, clean and always had a hot shower waiting for us.

It was our first time staying at a Non Hotel and didn't know what to expect. It was clean, the showers were hot. The light switches were a little confusing but nothing we couldn't figure out. Overall we will do it again.

Worst vacation ever

I had to wash dishes before I could use them. ( and when I mean wash, I mean wash almost every dish I pulled out of the cabinet! I wish I could post pictures) was bit in the butt by a dog in the lobby, ( I did nothing to the dog) my brand new car was scratched and dented by another tenant. Building is old and in need of repair. Pool was cloudy. Onsite staff was friendly and helpful

High cleaning fee, no ceiling light in dining rm, window shutters impossible to close, won't return

Pleasant building staff, easy check in. Excellent location. My friends and I were surprised to find dirty/sandy water in one bathroom sink. The dishwasher wasn't empty. The patio chairs were dirty. Return air vent was filthy. Closets hadn't been vacuumed for sometime. With the HIGH CLEANING FEE, we expected more. The bathtubs don't drain good. The NEW toilets don't flush good. Window shutters were impossible to close. No drapes. Difficult to see in the dining rm...no ceiling light. Only one lamp in the living area. Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, pots and pans. Good view of the gulf. Plenty of parking.

Okay for our stay but won't return.

I have carefully reviewed the notes regarding the cleanliness of our unit with our cleaning team and appreciate the opportunity to correct these issues promptly. We have installed drapes in the bedroom facing the Gulf and have begun the process of addressing the hurricane grade storm shutters which are there to protect the unit should a storm hit the Gulf. We are glad that you found the kitchen to meet your expectations as well as the view and parking. We are sorry to hear you won't be staying with us again, but appreciate your input and will work to address all these issues for all of our future guests.

View, view, view... and right on the beach!

View, view, view! Older property but we'll maintained. Pool and cabana area is very nice. Not as fancy as some of the newer resorts, but has its perks. The grills are gas, they store extra propane tanks, they have great grilling tools, there are nice tables to chill while you grill. The pool is clean and well maintained. The front desk is also very helpful and friendly. You can walk right across the street to the beach, and access stairs are conveniently located right there in front of you.

We stayed in 307, booked through VRBO. Had a glitch with the AC the afternoon we arrived, but the manager of the unit was very understanding and helpful. She had repairmen on it immediately, but unfortunately they couldn't repair it until the next day. She refunded us that first night as it was too hot to sleep with no AC and we had to stay in a motel. That was the only glitch. The repairmen that were there were both very friendly and nice. And once the repair was complete the condo cooled down quickly and was comfortable the remainder of our stay. Elizabeth checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was good and that we were comfortable.

The unit was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, much better than the nice hotel we stayed at the first night. It had a fully appointed kitchen with extras like an ice cold pitcher of purified water in the fridge, some basic spices, foil & sugar. Some were probably left by previous guests so I added a few as well. New appliances, lots of extra towells, and the most remarkable view! I loved sitting on the balcony (shaded in the evening) especially at night with a cold beverage and enjoy the sound of the waves and the fresh, salty breeze! We would definitely stay here again!!

Located minutes from the 61st street exit, our property is central to all major attractions in the Galveston area. Walking distance from the large grocery store/Walmart and just feet from the seawall. Beautiful and breezy, this unit is a sure fire winner for everyone!
