Siesta Key Public Beach has lifeguards on duty from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

In addition to a full-time staff of lifeguards, this beach includes sand volleyball courts, and tennis courts. This beach is expansive, the golf waters are gentle, and the amenities are generous. Professionally managed by an onsite licensed realtor, this townhome offers a generously 1352 sq.ft. bi-level layout that has been professional designed with Florida elegance and comfort in mind. Stay in this townhome, and start the morning right with a cup of coffee on the lagoon side balcony furnished with generous and comfortable patio chair and ottoman sets. Enjoy lunch in the eat-in kitchen, which is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishware, flatware, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave. The unit includes a new full side-by-side washer and dryer set for your convenience. The 10 ft ceilings in the spacious living room invite in the Florida sunshine and make the room a wonderful gathering place. A 50" flat panel TV and generous seating is a comfortable way to relax after sunset. A queen-size sleeper couch can be found adjacent to the conversation area in the living room.

The expansive balcony overlooking the grounds is accessible from both the living room and master bedroom suite. The spacious master bedroom boosts of 10ft ceilings, a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with closets and dressing area. What makes this townhome unique

This property has a gorgeous expansive balcony that over looks the property's lagoon. It's a wonderful place to relax with a drink and some eats. Well appointed and definitely worth a repeat stay

Great location - the property is right by Siesta Key beach and beach house. The furnishings are attractive and comfortable and the unit was clean. The in-unit washer and dryer are both full size, which was great for our family. The guest bedroom has both a queen and twin bed, an arrangement that really worked for our family. The master bedroom has a comfortable king bed. The rooms let in just there right amount of natural light and the balcony was a nice place to hang out and relax. The property manager is located onsite which made it easy for us to drop by to ask questions. The tennis courts and pool are nice. If you enjoy long walks or runs along an awesome beach, this is where you need to be.

Poorly maintained, would not recommend

Pros: Location is very convenient to the beach and the town. Siesta Key Beach is beautiful white sand and right across the street. The town, about 1 mile away offers many shops and restaurants with live music in the evening.

Cons: When we arrived, on a Saturday, the A/C did not work and the garage door remote did not work. The next morning, Sunday, we had no water. We had to call the emergency number and had to wait for the A/C repairman on Saturday and the plumber on Sunday to arrive because there was no one in the management office. These items were fixed, but that is not how we wanted to spend the first two days of our vacation. Other items that were disappointing...the master bedroom linens were very worn, the overhead light in the master bath worked intermittently, the towel bar in the 2nd bath fell off the wall and we did not have a working remote for the garage the entire week. But our biggest complaint was in how the management company handled all of these problems. On Monday when we went to talk with them about all of these items, they did not even offer an apology. Their answer about the A/C and the water was that it was checked earlier and is was working then.. Their answer about all of the smaller items was "that's the owner's responsibility to fix". We would not recommend a stay at this condo or at any condo managed by Tropical Sands Accommodations.

Owner's Response: We have apologized to Mike for the problems that presented during his stay & wish that no issues had arose during that time. We have provided some addition details regarding the swift attention given to each of these issues. A/C - The A/C for this unit is less than 2 years old & is well maintained, therefore the minor problem with the A/C was addressed quickly. Guest check-in was at 4pm October 15th & at 4:40pm the A/C repairman was already communicating with the guest. The guest requested the A/C repairman accommodate their schedule & come to property at 6pm after the guests had a chance to go shopping first. The A/C repairman was at the property at 6pm & resolved the problem by 6:45pm. Low Water Pressure -The guest noticed low water pressure the following morning, which was Sunday morning. The guest call the emergency number at around 9 am & the plumber was at the property 45 minutes later. He discovered the root cause of the problem & contacted Sarasota County immediately. The water pressure problem was a county water infrastructure problem & it was addressed by the county that Sunday morning. The repair restored water pressure to normal & was completed at 1:30pm that Sunday. The plumber provided the guest with his contact information & called the tenant to tell him the water pressure problem was repaired as the tenant had left the property during the repair. The tenant was not required to wait at the property for the repair to be completed as all the repair work was performed on water infrastructure that sits outside of the unit. Light fixture - The master bathroom has 4 independent light fixtures, one of which is an attractive fluorescent fixture. The fluorescent fixture was found to be slow to illuminate. A LED fixture was ordered to replace the fluorescent fixture the day we learned of the problem. Towel Rack - All towel racks in the bathrooms are securely installed with wall anchors. The set screws on the towel rack in question were tightened by the onsite handyman. Garage Door- The garage door continued to operating however the wireless communications had failed. A new part was ordered however it didn't arrive in time to complete the repair during the guest's stay. In addition to garage parking, the property has guest parking a few steps away from the unit. Linens- The guest did not mention a problem with one of the sets of linens to the property manager during their stay. The unit high quality linens that are regularly replaced.
