About Linda Tucker
Three generational family from Bermuda.
Linda Tucker purchased this Farmhouse in 2009
Why Linda Tucker chose Courcoué
Magical farmhouse with a great soul and ambience that was apparent from the minute we stepped into its welcoming courtyard. We undertook extensive renovations of the property and now use it as a family vacation home every year.

Superb accommodation in a fabulous location.
The house was able to comfortably accommodate our 3 generation family of 12 and allow everyone to have their own space whilst providing suitable space to eat and party together. The heated pool was loved by the 4 children and was big enough to allow the older members of the party to swim a few laps.
The views from the house were outstanding and the French countryside totally unspoilt. Apart from the wildlife there was no noise and we were surprised if more than 3 cars passed down the lane near the house during the day. We had regular visits from two Muntjac deer and a very friendly hare. The fruit in the garden and from the hedgerow provide many a fine desert.
I can't recommend the place highly enough and we regard ourselves as very fortunate given that we were only vaguely familiar with the area and not at all with the house.
Fully equipped, stylish house in rolling countryside close to Chinon
Very enjoyable week close to Richelieu and Chinon. House was a fully equipped and comfortable holiday base. Heated pool ideal for children. Other attractions were a medium drive away. Unfortunate location of barbecue patio near septic tank. Surprised some bedroom windows didn't have any curtains, bonds or shutters.
Excellent house in a beautiful location
Stayed for a week in August. Absolutely lovely house, very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The inside is beautifully furnished with an interesting art collection, the kitchen is well stocked with lots of basics. Very nice terrace with views of the countryside, great pool area too.
An exceptionally lovely house, we'll definitely be back!
Beautiful villa in fantastic location
Great villa close to the beautiful towns of Richelieu and Chinon. All rooms are really nicely renovated and set in very nice grounds. Beware the mozzies!
Located in the Loire Valley well known for its historic Chateaux and renowned wines and vineyards. All well worth a visit . The house is equidistant between Tours and Poitiers both of which are delightful French towns. Off the beaten track, It is an ideal place to relax unwind and enjoy peace and quiet . There is a good selection of local markets offering an array of Artisanal breads, cheeses, local produce, fresh fish and brocante.
