About Rodrigue

Rodrigue & Petra are both living in Belgium, but we have overall stayed abroad for almost 5 years.

We have 3 kids, boy-girl-boy and we just became grandparents for the first time.

We enjoy travelling, good restaurants, some good music, and love to spend time with our good friends.

Rodrigue purchased this villa in 2014

Why Rodrigue chose San Jaime

Some 25 years ago, we moved to Spain for my work and we stayed in Madrid for a good 3,5 years. The good memories of sunny Spain have always left a desire to return.

This is what we also did : On several occasions we returned and started visiting the coast line. Then we started thinking about a 2nd home ...

And so, after several house hunting visits to Moraira/Benissa, we bought our house in 2014.

Some small renovations and paintings were due and by the end of 2015 our house was ready to be enjoyed fully.

We like our house because of it's location : It is not too far away from the coast line, restaurants, bars and the city center of Moraira and at the same time it provides us with a neighborhood where you can still enjoy the silence of nature.

We carefully looked for a property that provides sufficient shaded areas throughout the day.

Off course the private pool also provides the opportunity to cool down during a hot summer day.

The fully equipped outdoor kitchen is just fenomenal : You have a view onto the pool, and all the necessary things are available at this level.

What makes this villa unique

It's location : Very quite neighborhood. Views on the mountains and a smaller view on the sea.

Our house is very close to - and sufficiently far away from the noise of - the supermarkets, restaurants, bars, sea and beaches .

Great place for kids and adults and after consultation you could bring your favorite ped with you.

The Calpe - Denia area is wellknown for the (amateur) Regularly cyclist and professional teams can be spotted here in the neighborhood.

And maybe you are lucky to encounter a (former) Tour de France winner on your trip.

Opening hours of the shops

Most shops are open during the whole day except Sunday and Saturday afternoon.

Some smaller shops close May in the afternoon during the week. Usually the afternoon closure is from 14:00 -16: 00 (. Eg, paint store, hardware store, clothing stores, ...).

Also in Benissa village (where you got off the highway) there are several at supermarkets. The prices are slightly cheaper, but the choice is more focused on local Spanish food and so you will find here a little less international ingredients.

All costs due to not installing these pins, will be invoiced to the tenants, irrespective of the security bail.
