modern and contemporary apartment, design and trendy renovated. Lyon 5th

Modern and contemporary apartment (70m2 / 1ch), very good quality, renovated, near the West Lyonnais (the residential chic district of Lyon). Very bright, high floor, it offers panoramic 180 degree panoramic from all windows.

Its location is interesting: the motorway network (Autoroutes A6 / A7 Paris / Lyon / Marseille) is a 2-minute drive, the airport in 40 minutes by car, 1h15 metro and tram, the Gerland stadium for the Euro 2016 is 12 minutes by car, 25 minutes by subway, downtown 10 minutes, the beautiful ballad "campaign" in 20 to 30 minutes from the house, the 3-star restaurant of Paul Pocuse 15 minutes, jogging on earth beaten 2 steps.

With or without a car, you can easily organize your professional life, and your leisure from my home. Free private parking, sports equipment (soccer stadium and tennis club) and shops nearby (supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, bank, tobacco, restaurant, etc.). Public transport at the foot of the residence (bus stops 200 m, subway 15 min walk). Bus and underground work until 23:30 or 1 am. Joining the metro from the house can be done by walking 15 min. Failing a bus stop 100 meters from the building serves the first subway station in 6 or 7 min.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms but is rented in one bedroom only. I leave personal belongings in the other that will be closed. The apartment that I propose is arranged as a hotel suite (luxury :-). The main entrance overlooks an open space consisting of a small hall, an equipped kitchen (15 m2 / 161 sq ft), a living room (29m2 / 312 sq ft), a bedroom (15 m2 / 161 sq) , a beautiful dressing incorporated in the bedroom, a walk-in shower room, separate toilet, two small terraces equipped with "eat upright" and bright furniture (smokers must imperatively go there for smoking - the apartment is a non-smoker!).

The apartment is equipped in fact of all the useful and significant comfort. Enjoy the furniture design and high-quality materials (1 flat screen TV in every living room of the apartment - including 1 TV Samsung 65-inch in the living room - Home theater bose, ceiling-speakers), bedding duvets, pillows, premium brands of home appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, automatic electric teapot, etc.), high speed internet (fiber), wifi and RJ45, uSB outlets for recharging your mobile or tablet, and iMac color laser printer to work, wine cellar, small cigar, media center to relax ...

You have to communicate a fixed telephone line and a broadband internet connection (fiber). Bed linen and towels are provided upon arrival. To you, however, to wash them and make your bed during your stay.

A cleaning service can be provided on request surcharge. There is no dryer in the apartment, but you will find one at the foot of the building (1 € for 10 min).

Equipped with double glazing, the apartment is quiet and silent. I attach great importance to your independence and tranquility. I ask you to do the same for my neighbors. You can organize a dinner for 8 or 10 people in the apartment easily. Invite your friends is not a problem. But no party or loud music after 22 hours (note that capacity to the power of home theater).

No drugs and other illegal substances or activities (peer to peer, escort services, etc.). No butts and other trash out the window. This is a condominium with internal regulations in respect to safeguard the well being of all. Access to the residence is secured by videophone and now we have a guardian 24h / 24.

My parents also live in the residence. They can answer your questions and meet your expectations to the extent of their ability. As such, I said they only speak French :-) My mother will be your contact person during your stay since I work abroad. French expatriate for fifteen years in various countries around the world, I am a senior executive in the food industry. A great traveler, I especially used to change the function of home every four or five years. So I developed some expertise to make sure the standard and cozy accommodation very comfortable to stay a while :-)

This is my foot down when I come to Lyon. It has just been renovated and furnished upscale with the help of a interior designer. Large investments have actually been made in the field of household appliances and furniture, so I am obliged to ask a large deposit (3500 euros). Two possibilities: either you prefer that I integrate it to the online payment and it will be debited and returned automatically within 15 days after your end of stay if I do not open any dispute for theft or damage.

Whether you are a demanding business traveler for a few days in Lyon, a long-term missionary, a privileged student, whether you are alone, in a relationship, or with friends, my apartment will allow you to comfortably organize your stay, independently and this for a budget mastered the expenses you would have to make to enjoy a comfortable and functional housing.

I recently rented the apartment to a man in a difficult situation following a divorce that required him to quickly leave the marital home. My apartment allowed him to turn around immediately, to stay close to his work and to welcome his children in very good conditions ...

If you want to take advantage of my wine cellar or my cellar, send me a small email during your stay to know the price of these small options. It would be naturally more elegant to ask me than to force me to charge your consumption on your deposit :-)

The apartment can be rented whole or in part. If you rent the apartment only you are entitled to the usufruct of the whole house except the vault where I leave papers. I also reserve a portion of the large dressing room. In the cupboards you will find essential goods, household products, oil, tea, jam, etc.). Use them as you like, but it would be nice to replace those you have eaten before your departure (a supermarket at the foot of the building). I have a wine cellar and a cigar cellar with some wines. I regularly go to Cuba and am an amateur of good wine. If you want to enjoy, please mail me to know the price of these items I can put on sale. If you consume without informing me, I will naturally be obliged to deduct them from your security deposit.

Very nice stay in Lyon during a business meeting

We can only recommend the flat in Lyon. This has a really nice view over Lyon from level 12 in the building. We enjoyed the flat equipped with all needed for a stay. The owners mother welcome us very freindly and was available during the days for any request. We are a family of 2 adualt and 2 kids, so this was a perfect stay during some business days in Lyon.

France's second city in terms of population (although an old quarrel figures contrasted centuries in Marseille on this point), Lyon is a city that abounds in wealth ignored!

Rodhannienne the city enjoys a strategic position between the north and the south of France. If you know the famous Headland Tunnel famous for its delays when going on vacation, I'm just above, quiet :-)

The tunnel Pound is borrowed to go skiing in the nearby Alps or join the south of France (which is 300 km).

Lyon is indeed one of the few cities in France to reconcile these two aspects of our culture, between the colorful facades of banks of Soane which suggest Rome or Pisa, and the west bank of the Rhone, Haussman more.

Throughout both Latin and Nordic, Lyon is a concentrate of France, even in its title ancient capital of Gaul and unbeatable capital of gastronomy! (Abbaye de Collonges, L 'Auberge du Collonge Bridge and the West Brasserie, the prestigious restaurant of Paul Bocuse are between 10 and 20 minutes from my house, do not hesitate to revisit with them the tradition of Lyonnaise cuisine: - )

What makes so pleasant discovery Lyon site is in my opinion its geographically structured look: two rivers, the Rhône and the Saône, 2 hills, Fourvière and Croix Rousse, mark the area and delimit neighborhoods and ambiances various attractions: the peninsula and shopping streets, docks, slopes (the red cross), large places (Bellecour, the heart of the city and Soils which sit city Hall and opera House Jean Nouvel), green horizons Lyonnais.

Admire from the Fourvière Basilica this unique urban geography. Remember this opportunity to get into the basilica itself: the beautiful blue interior will surprise you by its eastern reminders ...

If the walks not scare you, you can reach the Basilica Pound walk from home. It is 2.8 km away. On the way, you will make a break to visit the ruins Gallo Roman and museum and you will have made a trip between centuries.

The remains of the Gallo-Roman amphitheater can be seen. Better try to spend an evening: there are frequent performances in summer!

The Gallo-Roman museum will give you a sense of immersion in the life of Obelix and Aster. Remember Lyon - Lugdunum - was the beginning of our era the second largest city of the Roman Empire!

In medieval times, the St Jean district, St Paul and St George which form the current old Lyon (10 min from home) develop. While the clergy imposed its domination over the city, the first traboules are emerging.

But it is especially in the Renaissance, in the early fifteenth century, that Lyon regain a central role in Europe. Lyon is indeed one of the most important Renaissance Mall. It is emerging as a vital platform through its river routes, its fairs where all the continent merchants find themselves, and the development of the textile industry (silk).

The first French stock exchange there appeared. Bankers and wealthy Italian families settled along the Saone, leaving their mark architecture of the mansions of old Lyon.

From the seventeenth century, the nerve center of the city withdraws to the peninsula. Y were built or completed today many famous buildings: the Hotel Dieu, the town hall, the theater of Celestine, the fountain of the Jacobins or the Place Bellecour

At that time, Lyon is the most prosperous city in France thanks to the Silk industry. The workshops focus specifically on the Croix Rousse and down to the Saône (browse through the alleyways)

Lyon is marked at the time of the industrial revolution by the revolts of Canuts the early nineteenth century. These silk workers suffered a notorious crackdown.

During World War II, Lyon is the capital of the French Resistance. Most underground newspapers are produced there.

This is in Caluire in the nearby suburb of Lyon Jean Moulin was arrested. Housed in the former headquarters of the Gestapo, the Resistance Museum invites you to rediscover the role of Lyon in the French Resistance. Not very happy but culturally interesting!

Museums, neighborhoods, world heritage sites, invite you to discover the fascinating history of Lyon.

This is a city that is constantly evolving: testify in the 90 Metamorphoses of the Place des Terreaux by Daniel Buren, and opera by Jean Nouvel, as more recently the very successful redevelopment of the Rhone docks (rinks cycling tracks and barges) as the lead role of the city in the use of two wheels (1 và © lov station is 250 meters away from me if you want to rent a bike)
