Beautiful villa with spectacular views in a very quiet area and just minutes from many areas of interest (see location data).

The interior of the house has a large fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, microwave, utensils, coffee maker), 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a spacious lounge.

The exterior features two terraces partly covered with wooden pergolas, a garden with fruit trees and a small private pool. It offers a lot of privacy.

Great location and property but rather marred by poor electrics

On a positive note, the property itself is spacious and well adapted to outdoor living, so would be well suited to warmer seasons. It is in a good location - out of town but with easy access by car to shops and restaurants in the Telde area, with great views, and in a quiet location. There is easy access also to the motorway (GC 1) for Las Palmas, the North and North West coasts, and the resorts of the Southern coast, as well as to the smaller roads leading to the centre of the island. This was our first visit to Gran Canaria and we enjoyed finding the very different scenery in different parts of the island. Our first visit outside Telde was to the Barranco de Guayadeque, which we recommend as a great introduction to what GC has to offer.

We were there in what turned out to be a rather cold fortnight in January, so it was unfortunate that heating and some other electrical equipment was affected by electrical faults. Some appliances cannot be run at the same time and partly as a result of this power was tripped off nine or ten times while we were there (Having said that, at least, once you have found your torch, it is easy enough to restore power.) The heating/air conditioning unit was not very efficient, though we think would be adequate outside the winter period. You need a rather small car to be able to make use of the garage - otherwise it is quite a walk to somewhere to park.

Quiet & convenient location, lots of room, lovely host.

Very pleasant property, beds and sofa were comfy, nice large kitchen, lots of interesting outdoor space. Garden was lovely. Didn't use the washing machine but was nice to know it was there.

Sadly the pool was too cold for us to use but I'm sure it'll be nice in the summer!

The garage was very useful as no other room around to park, only suitable for a small car (which was fine for us!)

Marta was very nice and helpful - easily contactable via mobile phone and was helpful with our early morning checkout.

Nothing really around in walking distance but only a short drive from Telde - shops & restaurants there, the main road was easily accessible and airport was only about 15 minutes away.

It rained overnight each night we were there but still had some nice views and it was easy to drive away from the clouds!

It wasn't the fanciest place in the world but was homely and comfortable and pleasant.

All in all, a very nice stay in a nice property, we had a great time :)

Nice place with Beautiful views

A nice place in a quiet street. Happy to be far away from the tourist towns. Lovely bakery just down the road. My husband who is very tall did bump his head a few times. The apartment is Ok, a bit dark. Three different terraces to choose from outside to sit in the morning sun.

sehr einfach ausgestattete Unterkunft in ruhiger Wohnsiedlung

Die sehr nette Gastgeberin Marta hat uns trotz später Ankunft persönlich Willkommen geheissen und war jederzeit erreichbar. Es liegt sehr viel gutes Infomaterial und Kartenwerk im Haus bereit.

Wer nicht viel Wert auf Komfort und Gemütlichkeit legt und keine grossen Ansprüche in Bezug auf Ausstattung hat und Improvisationstalent besitzt , ist bestens aufgehoben.

Zu erwähnen ist: es gibt keine deutsches TV, die Poolmasse sind 2m x 3m

Pas chaud...

Malheureusement nous avons eu un temps exceptionnellement froid durant notre séjour. Le chauffage dès le premier jour fonctionnait mal et le lendemain Fatima a essayé de le faire fonctionner mais sans succès. Avons téléphoné à Marta qui nous a fixé un rendez-vous pour le lendemain samedi à 13.30h. Elle est arrivé à 14.50h.... et malheureusement et ne pouvait réparer et nous promettait un spécialiste pour lundi. Nous lui demandons alors un chauffage électrique d'appoint mais sans succès. Lundi pas de nouvelles donc nous quittons l'appartement vers midi car il faisait froid. A notre retour nous avons un sms de Marta nous indiquant qu'elle était passée avec un spécialiste et que tout fonctionnait. Après plusieurs essais le chauffage fonctionne par à coup et n'arrive pas à chauffer l'appartement. Nous le signalons à Marta par sms et depuis aucun signe de vie de Marta...

La salle de bain mériterait un rafraîchissement et un nettoyage des canalisations pour éviter les très fortes odeurs. La pièce ouverte sur la cuisine est insalubre. Les mûrs sont recouverts de moisissure.

Pour le reste l'appartement est conforme, la literie est bonne et le wifi fonctionne bien mais nos vacances ont été gâchées par tous ces désagréments.

Stilvolle Wohnung

Wir haben lange überlegt wie viele Sterne wir geben, da wir uns in der Wohnung wohl gefühlt haben. Hier die Zusammenfassung.

Positiv: Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet Wohnung. Marta hat ein guten Sinn für Geschmack. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Wohnzimmer sehr gemütlich. Es gab sogar ein Babybett und Hochstuhl. Marta ist sehr gastfreundlich und immer erreichbar falls ml.

Nicht so ideal: eigentlich günstig gelegen, da man fast alles in 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht. Allersings ist die Gegend so trostlos dass man vor Ort nicht mal einen Spaziergang machen möchte/kann. Aus dem Badezimmer kam leider ein latenter Abwassergeruch der aber bei geschlossener Tür nicht ins Wohnzimmer kommt. Die Garage ist recht klein und eignet sich nur für einen Kleinwagen. Allerdings gibt es am Anfang der Strasse Parkplätze sodass wir es nicht störend fanden.

Ich wollte nur klarstellen, wie ich Ihnen in einer Nachricht während Ihres Aufenthaltes sagte, dass sowohl der dunkle Aspekt der Gegend als auch der Geruch des Badezimmers auf das regnerische Wetter zurückzuführen war, das es damals auf der Insel gab. Es ist sehr selten, dass diese klimatischen Bedingungen auftreten, aber manchmal passiert es. 90% des Jahres genießen wir beneidenswerte Bedingungen ... (ESPAÑOL) Muchísimas gracias Silke, por dedicar un rato a escribir acerca de tu estancia en la casa. Solo quería aclarar, tal y como te comenté en un mensaje durante tu estancia, que tanto el aspecto sombrío de la zona como el olor del baño, se debió al temporal de lluvias que hubo en ese momento en la isla. Es muy raro que se den esas condiciones climáticas, pero a veces ocurre. El 90% del año, gozamos de unas condiciones envidiables...
