Filey has been the place we came for family holidays since we were kids back in the 1970's.

Why Andrew Tate chose Filey

This cottage is a part of local history. The house was once lived in by Ruben Scotter who's family owned the last twin masted fishing Yawl to sail out of Scarborough.

Lovely House. Clean and tidy and in great condition.

Highly recommended. Great communication from the owner. The house has been done to a superb standard. Tucked away in the middle of Filey. Easy access to everywhere and lovely and quiet. Will definitely be back.

Lovely gem of a cottage close to Filey seafront

Dandy Rig was just as we thought it would be - lovely! Compact two bedroom cottage which has been very thoughtfully renovated, decorated & furnished. A well equipped kitchen too for any cooking that you might be tempted to do! Tesco was five minutes walk away, good fresh fish shop opposite, pleasant pub down the road and Bella Italia Ristorante Pizzeria to tempt you out for a meal if you did not fancy sampling any of the fish & chips on offer elsewhere! Excellent communication from Andy - from booking, through to instructions on how to access the cottage etc. (Andy, thank you again for the welcome box - a lovely gesture & very much appreciated). Very quiet neighbourhood and we very much enjoyed Filey itself. Easy access to Scarborough, Robin Hood Bay, Whitby, Staithes if you wanted to explore. A wonderful four-night stay which went far too quickly. Dandy Rig is highly recommended!

Good central Filey location. Cosy property with log burner in living room. We stayed over Christmas - decorations and chocolates were thoughtful extras. Well equipped kitchen. Would stay here again.

Well Equiped Cottage in Good Location

Nicely modernised cottage. Everything you could wish for. A few minutes walk to big Tesco and not far to seafront. Wi-fi worked well - a must these days. Beds comfortable. Nice shower. Had a slight problem when we arrived but this was sorted very quickly and efficiently by the owner. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage.
