What makes this Villa unique
“Los Alcazares has a fantastic coastline with over 7 kilometres of sandy beaches which give direct access to the warm waters of the Mar Menor, "little sea" which is extremely safe for children and also boasts the blue flag, dotted along the beach are a host of chirping units (beach bars) which make fresh tapas, serve cold local beer and are oozing with Spanish hospitality. Parallel to these beaches and running the entire length is the extremely long promenade, which is great for walking and cycling. The town centre is relatively spread out and has a good selection of shops. There is a good family feel here with many restaurants of very varied cuisine. If that isn't enough there is also the two golf courses of La Serana and Roda, you will also find another 12 courses within a 25 minute drive which includes La Manga. The port city of Cartagena is a 20 minute drive away which boast many interesting sights related to maritime and Roman history. The airport of San Javier is less than 5 minutes away.”

Ideal Holiday Let
We throughly enjoyed our stay at Tickey Boo. It is set in an ideal location that is not too far from the beach or the lively square where you can find most things. The house itself contained all of the fixtures and fittings that you expect when you stay at a furnished holiday let. The pool is set in beautiful gardens behind the property that is an ideal place to soak up the sun and unwind. We'd throughly recommend this property and we look forward to staying again.

Review of Tickety Boo
The property was lovely, very spacious with lots of bedrooms and two large bathrooms, one of which being a wet room which was really useful when you have been to the beach. The kitchen was really self sufficient and had all the electrical equipment and utensils you could possibly wish for. The decor was lovely and made it feel really homely and I loved how thoughtful the owners had been and thought of everything including extra towels, sun loungers and shopping trolley. The swimming pool was lovely and quiet and very well maintained, we especially liked the baby pool. The house was in a great location really close to all the amenities and the beach, would definitely recommend and love to stay again!
The property was a home from home . The owners have provided everything you would need for a perfect holiday. It is beautifully maintained throughout. Everything was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The position of the property is only a very short walk to shops , restaurants and the beach.the long promenade along the beach offers a variety of wonderful bars / snack bars. A perfect place to swim or sit with a cold drink and relax and watch the world go by.
Also, Tanya was very helpful explaining where everything was and making our journeys to and from the property stress free by providing transfers. Property/ grounds and pool/area/ holiday faultless

a gem of a holiday property in wonderful situation
what a fabulous house, we could not have wished for a better place
its situation in relationship to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets
was amazing we loved visiting the local markets which were in easy walking distance so a car was not a neccesity
we used local bus service to larger places such as cartajena etc
the house was superbly maintained and equiped with every thing
we could have wished for including sun loungers,patio chairs and tables
there was even a shopping trolley for your use to go to the markets
saving carrying any heavy shopping
the house managers Tania and Lee were very helpful and available for all your queries should there be any and were very helpfull with information about the surrounding area and restaurants
we cannot wait to return and would definately reccomend this villa to our friends and family

A delightful holiday unfortunately cut short due to being my partners' first holiday and missing our children, so only managed to stay 2 nights however my partner is very Interested in going again with the kids, something which she was totally against to begin with. I went in early October and the weather was outstanding, I had a maximum of 3 hours on the beach and caught a tan!

The beach of the Mar Menor is only a short walk away. This is excellent for children and adults alike as it has shallow waters which can be enjoyed by children as it is safe and the water sports for the adults.
The beach stretches for some 5 miles which also has a promenade running alongside the full length (some rollerbladers, cyclists, joggers can be found here). This is dotted with beach bars (chuiringuito's) should you require refreshments.
The nearest airports are San Javier (local) and Alicante which is approximately 60 miles. Either airport is excellent in terms of travel and our property can be reached easily from either. We have someone who can pick you up so give us a call and we can organise for you.
Should you require car hire whilst you are visiting the area, there are numerous car hire companies in the area that will can have a car waiting at the airport.
The property stands in the spanish town of Los Alcazares enjoying a central position close to all amenities, i.e. Supermarkets, restaurants, banks, etc and the beach. The ancient Roman city of Categena is 10 mins by car. The state capital city Murcia is 20 mins by car. All must be seen if you visit. They can also be reached by local bus which is an experience but easily done. Again if you need any information and you are up for a challenge, give us a call and we will help.
The main square at Los Narejos has a large selection of restaurants from Indian to English and there is a selection of bars. The choice of bars are yours, from typical Spanish to Irish.
The local supermarket is a short walk away - Mercadonna. The local banks - Halifax/Sol/etc are also a short walk away. The local shops/restaurants are short walk away.
There is also the old town of Los Alcazares with its quaint church and marina plus tapas bar/restaurants.
The Sunday markets are held weekly and the local market is held every Tuesday which are well worth a visit.
The property is only a 10 minute drive from the airport and a full airport transfer service can be arranged on your behalf so a car is not essential.
