My wife and I are from Weymouth Dorset and have just bought this delightful cabin This is the first time that we have embarked on anything like this but because we love having holidays in the west country we wanted to share the experience with others.
Owner purchased this Cabin in 2016
Why Owner chose Hartland
Prior to buying lodge 39 we have had been on holiday to Hartland Forest several times and just fell in love with the area. So when we saw this lodge for sale we couldn't resist it. This is our first year and we wanted to keep our prices low to attract customers and hopefully keep them.
What makes this Cabin unique
The property is situated in a tranquil area of Devon offering an opportunity to escape the stress of every day life, relax and unwind in peaceful surroundings. If you're looking for a quite relaxing holiday try this site, it's very peaceful.

Fantastic quiet secluded chalet
Amazing large cabin which is perfect for both families and couples wanting to get away from daily hectic lifestyles. The cottage is very spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with games, dvds, kitchen utensils and more! Really felt like a home away from home. Property is remote so ideal for those wanting to escape from hustle and bustle. Owners have thought of everything with this property and have provided even emergency contacts and best places to go, eat etc. Really the best holiday my partner and I have had in a long time and would highly recommend. Owner has great communication and so helpful. We will be back!
Clean tidy everything we needed.
We all had a lovely time in this peaceful place. Everything was provided that we needed and it was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints except that bein g deaf, I would have liked subtitles on the TV. I would recommend this place to a friend.
Very well equipped property. Very remote however - be aware that there is nothing and no one around.
Thank you for having us in your very clean, and well equipped property. It worked well for us as a base but I think the kids would have preferred to have other people around. Good location to drive to places from though and we enjoyed the Tarka Trail and surfing in Westward Ho!.
Lovely place well equipped realy fantastically clean.will recommend to anyone.👍
Very nice and pleasant views. We have really enjoyed.
unsure what to think at first
was really impressed, took a while to find, recommend using the site map provided straight away, but once arrived thought was brilliant, clean tidy little cabin, and out of all the cabins there is one of the few better locations, alot all located close together this one is alot more remote. would recommend to anyone and will defiantly be going back at some point.
Thank you for your kind words
It was great and really better than what I was thinking the lodge was full of love and game ;)
wish go there again.
The coast of North Devon is known for it's historic tales of smuggling and wrecking , and famous for its fishing villages , including Hartland and Clovelly which are just 5 miles away . Remembered for its quaint cottages and steep cobbled footpath leading to the 14th century harbour, Clovelly should not be missed by visitors whilst Hartland Quay offers beautiful countryside, rugged coastline with stunning views.' .
Lundy Island can be visited by boat from Clovelly or Bideford Quay. .
If you enjoy visiting gardens and historic buildings ,a trip to Hartland Abbey , Tapeley House and Gardens , Arlington Court , RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Marwood Gardens would be worthwhile .
