Why Keith Kron chose Central City/Garden District

I have lived in New Orleans my whole life. I fell in love with the lower garden district and Magazine street. When this property became available, I saw so much potential in it that I had to have it. My house is very important to me, and I think that it adds a lot of charm to an already great neighborhood.

What makes this house unique

The location is unbelievable with lots of personality and everything that you could need like restaurants, arts, and parades.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here during a work conference at the Convention Center. It was a great stay, we were able to walk almost everywhere we needed to go, and the house was beautiful! Loved the high ceilings and the cozy beds. I wish we had a chance to use the kitchen, because it was very nice and seemed to have everything we could have possibly needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Awesome

  • 5 of 5

This house is such a great place to stay! The double shot gun style home was just incredible. The kitchen has a lot of space, the master bedroom is huge, and the shower was amazing. This house is on a quiet street, but your able to walk and/or uber anywhere in town. Even the backyard has awesome plant. Very dog friendly! The owner Keith is also easy to work with!

Comfortable and Accomodating

  • 5 of 5

Granpa, Granma, Daughter, Son-in-law, 2 grandsons (7&8) had a great family get together in this home. The kitchen was a wonderful gathering place for all of us and is stocked with everything you could ever need for meal prep. Beds are comfy, plenty of linens, massage recliner and much more.

AND we parked our cars in front until we packed them back up to leave. You can take the bus, streetcar and/or walk everywhere. Highly recommend !!!

We loved the place

  • 5 of 5

First, I need to preface that I like older properties.

When we first came upon the property, we were apprehensive of the neighborhood. Having stayed there, I can tell you that we were not afraid at all. We felt perfectly safe to walk to our car at anytime of the day or night. We could not have felt more secure in the house, and there weren't any loud noises even from the bar across the street. The loudest sound we heard were the normal sirens of any city.

If you do not know what a shot gun house is, please look it up before you get there. It adds such an ambiance to your stay. The house was in terrific shape. The kitchen was great; the beds were comfortable; the bathrooms terrific. We loved the clawed bath tube, as well as the new shower. In fact, I have recommended this house to some friends of mine who travel to New Orleans regularly.

Another nice feature of this house it it is in walking distance of the street car, the WWII museum, and Emeril's Delmonico restaurant.

I cannot recommend this place enough.

A beautiful home, great location and an attentive landlord. We stayed for a week during Jezz Fest and have only good things to say about this property and its owner.

Great Artsy Shotgun find

  • 5 of 5

What a jewel! This artsy three bedroom shotgun home filled our family get-a-way need perfectly. The 7 yr old twins shared the blowup bed Keith supplied, the 12 yr old had the Queen size Murphy Bed, and we grow ups had the other Queen and King beds. The linens were top self. We used the claw foot tub for soaking after our day long walks...AND we all had a turn on the massage chair.

The home is very well stocked with dishes and utensils. There was even soap for the washing machine!!!

Restaurants are close by as well as juice bars. The French Truck Coffee roasting house is on the corner. Great coffee. We had dinner at Atchafalaya and Annunciation. We highly recommend both and they were a very short ride away. Dressy casual.

Thank you, Keith, for the perfect home away for us!
