APARTMENT CARMELA is a 2 bedroomed luxury first floor apartment located in the increasingly popular holiday village of ‘O Pomar’ in Cabanas de Tavira. The accommodation includes a lounge/diner, modern and fully equipped kitchen and a guest WC. To the rear of the apartment there are 2 bedrooms; 1 double and 1 twin, with ensuite bathroom and fitted wardrobes in each. At the front is a balcony with tables and chairs for dining/relaxing, with a south facing view towards the sea which is not overlooked. The apartment is beautifully furnished and comfortable with a wide range of facilities including underground parking, elevator access, air conditioning in all rooms, electric blinds, unlimited WIFI and a large range of European/Portuguese TV channels and a selection of UK channels. O Pomar holiday village has a large residents' swimming pool, gymnasium, snack bar and restaurant on site. A 10 minute stroll takes you directly to Cabanas Village where there is a wide choice of restaurants and cafe bars to choose from and also the boat to the beautiful beach island. Great accommodation with everything in walking distance, so the use of a car is not essential.

Pomar is a popular holiday destination in an unspoiled area of the Eastern Algarve. The Condo has a large residents' pool, a restaurant, snack bar and gymnasium on-site! So you dont have to venture too far to get company. But just 10 miutes walkaway, Cabanas village is the main attraction! Cabanas is a small and pretty fishing village, not overcrowded with tourists. It remains largely unspoilt and has a friendly, family atmosphere. The whole village can be leisurely strolled, from end to end, in around 30 minutes and has an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and cafes catering for all tastes - most of which are along the sea front and capture the day time sunshine. For smaller budgets and a taste of the real Algarve, there is also a number of traditional bars and Tascas serving typical Portuguese meals in the back streets at very reasonable prices! The village has 2 well stocked supermarkets, and there is also a daily fresh food market on the main river front, as well as butchery and bakery shops. There are relatively few gifts shops, but in the height of summer, there are stalls selling handcrafted goods. Cabanas is not a destination for those seeking activity and night life - the atmosphere is generally relaxed and is perfect for socialising, relaxing and dining. Good bus/rail links.
