Recently renovated from an old barn 'Le Villeberry' offers stylish and comfortable accommodation. One of three adjoining gites ('Le Petit Damelot' and 'Le Guillevic') . Set in a stunning rural location with far reaching views, but only a 4km car ride from the lovely town of Pontrieux.. Built of pink granite, famous in this area, the sympathetic conversion retains original features and is decorated in a fresh modern country style. The property is set away from the main house, across a courtyard, and has its own private garden. There is also a large communal area for children to play and adults to enjoy the fabulous views to the Mene Bre mountains. The main house in parts dating back to the 17th century is a building of historic interest. Set in three acres of parkland there is a small apple orchard and an ancient cider press. The name 'Le Villeberry' is a type of Breton cider apple.
The gite is suitable for couples, friends or families, (babies welcome) and offers a laid back restful base with lots of great activities in the surrounding area. You can be as busy or as chilled out as you like.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and vitroceramic hob.
WiFi is free. Wall mounted TV with English and French Freeview channels, DVD, books are available.
Smoking is not allowed inside the property but you can smoke outside - ashtrays provided.
French doors open onto a private patio with stunning views and a barbeque is available. There is a trampoline, snooker and ping pong table.
There are 2 bedrooms both with ensuite shower rooms. There is 1 king size bed and 2 single beds. Luxury towels and bed linen are provided.
If required we can supply a cot, baby bath and high chair at no extra charge.
Pricing is for 4 guests. Le Villeberry can sleep 6+ and each additional guest costs £10 per night. Just let us know your requirements and we will do what we can to assist.
We provide a 'Welcome Pack' (free of charge) to get you started. It includes the basics - tea, coffee, sugar, wine, milk, bread, jam and cheese. For an additional charge ask to see our more extensive welcome pack or ask about our evening meals delivered direct to you in your gite or on your patio.
