A modern and comfortable apartment within a complex. Three double bedrooms , one has twin beds ( all bedrooms are fully air-conditioned). The king size master bedroom has en suite facilities. Additional family shower room, fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining room and balcony overlooking large pool. Satellite TV/24,24hr security . Maid service ( 3 times a week). All main doors and windows are fitted with mosquito nets for additional comfort The complex includes a tennis court , and is only five minutes walk to the golden beach of Flic en Flac. Situated in close proximity to banks, boutiques, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and bus routes . This home from home offers very affordable relaxation . Transfer to and from airport can be arranged . This apartment is managed locally by a nice English speaking lady who can also help in arranging excursions, car hire etc. . The accommodation is Licensed and conforms to Mauritius Tourist Board regulations

Hi Michel

Sorry for not contacting you before, catching up is my only excuse.

Paul, mother and I would like to thank you very much for allowing us to use your apartment for the holiday. We had a wonderful time.

The journey, both ways were excellent. No problems at all. The flight out seemed to take a lot longer though. Journey back was far better and we arrived on time even though we were in a stack to land at Heathrow.

Primrose is a gem. what a lovely lady she is. so kind, generous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her

The apartment beautiful. So spacious and comfortable. We immediately felt right at home.

You were right about the immediate area. The shop was at the end of the road, ideal for fresh bread every morning and the restaurants the same, perfect to help walk off the beautiful food.

We went to the restaurants you suggested and the one at the end of the road. Bois Nior was by far the preferred choice though. Thank you for that advice.

We managed, with Primrose's help, to see the dolphins, and had a lovely day at sea.

We managed to get a hire car, in which time we toured as much of the island as we could. Mother was in raptures about the scenery. The island more than lived up to her expectations (as it did for us all). Although we saw quite a bit it was only a glimpse at best which has left us with a thirst for more.

Paul managed to get in his deep sea fishing. He shared the trip with one other couple .Paul managed to catch 2 large tuna, so was a very happy chappie indeed. For me, I took up snorkeling, Paul teaching me his diver skills, and managed to see some beautiful fish, including a pipe fish.something I had seen in tanks but not in the sea. Paul was much braver than I and went out a bit further and found a lion fish and swam with a turtle.

His snorkeling was made. Only problem was he was unable to record these events. Guess what's on the Xmas pressie list this year - an underwater camera.I have to sincerely thank you all for the chance of this fantastic holiday. For me I had the pleasure of seeing my husband, happy and relatively free from pain, relaxed and thoroughly enjoying himself and a mother in law who was extremely happy with her lot. Comfort, good food and plenty of it (mum assures us she doesn't eat a lot - but you know what Bois Nior serves up and her plate was empty). What's the saying my belly's full and my heart is glad.

Now for the crunch. Please, please, please, can we go again? We all fell in love with the island and would love to go back next year. If this is possible, we really would like to go again and really explore.

Again many, many thanks for the opportunity and we are really grateful to you. We have many pictures but have the scope for many more.

This is an spacious property and very well designed . It have a great garden and the swimming pool is among the largest in the country and also has a baby/children pool The newer properties tend to be much smaller with very small pool . My apartment face directly to the pool and in a great position and from there you can observe practically everything especially supervising the children if they are in the pool

The close access to the beach , supermarket and shops makes it an ideal location

Spacious , even with 6 persons , you never feel cramped inside or outside . As you walk in , you get the sense of being at home and also feel relaxed .The apartment is very well equipped

Owner and Manager were rude and disrespectful

We were vacationers from San Francisco, California (12,000 miles from Mauritius). The unit was well furnished. Beyond that, our 12 day rental experience was a big disappointment.

Swimming pool - no water.

Gas stove – could not make it work.

TV – did not know how to operate.

Hot/Cold water – some taps did not work.

DVD – did not work.

Mice – had mice.

The manager (Primrose), did not provide us with a complete orientation on how things operated. She could not operate the gas stove herself until the maid showed her that the valve of a hidden gas canister had to be turned on fully. She did not know that some taps worked in reverse order. She did not know that the DVD was not hooked up to the TV. She did not know that there were TV operating instructions in one of the drawers. She admitted that there are mice all over, gave us a mouse trap, and asked us to set it ourselves (we caught one mouse). After travelling 31 hrs to reach Mauritius, I guess we were a bit too jet lagged to figure things out on our own, but should that have been necessary?

The owner, instead of insisting that Primrose provide a complete orientation, he blamed us for not asking for instructions. He claimed that his appliances are standard all over the world, while he knew, while living in the UK, he did not have to turn on a gas canister to operate his stove. He claimed that he is a Chinese Mauritian with a philosophy to do the best for everyone. Putting the blame on victims when things do not go right, instead of taking the rightful responsibility, is not an impressive philosophy. However, my wife and wife accept that this is his definition of his philosophy.

Good luck prospect renters. I wish I could have posted a picture of the pool at the time of our leaving. It was quarter filled with what looked like sewer water.

Owner's Response: I really feel upset and disappointed with these packs of lies .i agree that the pool needed an emergency repair so had to be drained . Hence he was well compensated for this which he did not mentioned.The gas supply to the cooker was turned off when the previous guests departed so had to be turned back on again . As my house manager had some injury to her hands , she asked the maid to turn the gas on. He implied that my house manager did not have a clue how to do it . Water supply was working fine.All that was needed was for him to wait some seconds for the hot water to reach the taps ( which is normal) He wanted everything to work straightaway and did not have the patience to wait a few seconds.TV was in perfect working order .However much explanations were given to him , he failed to comprehend and he seemed to have assumptions that were not based on reality . He kept making comparisons with what he has in USA because items/appliances were not compatible with what he used to , so he became easily frustrated and angry .We were never rude to him as my emails correspondence can demonstrate, in fact the reverse is true. My house manager received a barrage of insults and rudeness from him . I have been an owner on homeawayuk for the 14 years and this is the most appalling comments I had . In fact my past reviews can demonstrate this , 99 % were graded at 4/5 stars and none graded as 1

Nice apartment in a good location

We had a lovely stay at this apartment which had every facility you could need. The pool was excellent, and just a small stroll to the beach. We where very impressed with Michal and how quick he was to answer any questions had, also Primrose who greeted us on our arrival, who also helped to arrange day trips and also our taxi transfer on leaving.

Very nice apartment close to the shops and sea. Well secured and cosy

Apartment was brilliant. Only thing which I found non professional is imposing me to a specific time for cleaning especially coming from abroad and have to wake up at 9am. The rest was great, perfect clean location and nice swimming pool.

Lovely apartment

This property was very nice.we have stayed in dattier a few times now and this by far is the best, very secure and had the added bonus of having mosquito nets on all doors and windows and free WiFi.

The rooms where lovely and clean and primrose and her team of cleaners where very good..I would most definitely stay here again...thanks

Lovely apartment,ideal location

Had a lovely holiday in flic and flax ,apartment had everything you need very spacious and clean . Ideal location to beach just a short walk to all local amenities. The owner and manager were so very helpful,with any questions we had and sorting transfers hire cars etc .a big thankyou to them both .will definitely be recommending it to anyone who want a holiday in Mauritius .
