Wonderful apartment in Paignton

The apartment is located in a calm street in Paigton and the beach is just 5 min to walk. Restaurants/Pier/Station are about 10 mins away. A bus stop and a Sainsbury's is around the corner. We were three adults and one child, sharing the three bedrooms. So there was lots of space. There is a separate toilet and a tumble dryer, both a big plus. The only pain point is the missing dishwasher. Parking in the street was absolutely no problem.

Lovely clean apartment.

The apartment was clean and welcoming and overall in a good location. The downside I would say is the parking. It's on a residential street and the parking is a nightmare at certain times of the day. There are 2 flats in one house but there is no sound proofing so you can hear everything from the flat below, including the snoring. All the beds were very hard and not very comfortable, which is definitely a problem if you suffer with a bad back. The pillows were no better. Apparently the wifi hub is in the lower flat and unfortunately the residents there left mid week and turned it off so we had no wifi for a couple of days, which the kids weren't happy about. Part of the window blind in the main bedroom fell off in the middle of the night which nearly gave us a heart attack. There were 5 of us yet there were only 4 place mats for the table. The flat is missing a lounge. There were TVs in one of the bedrooms and in the kitchen but no where comfortable to sit in the evening, which could be a big downside if you have younger children who go to bed earlier. We attempted to have a bath but abandoned it as it was taking too long to fill and as the shower is attached to the bath taps that was also slow. The toilet was separate from the bathroom which was great but unfortunately it was very noisy, which was a definite problem at night. Overall it was a lovely clean apartment and would be OK if you're not planning on spending much time there. I wouldn't recommend the top flat if you have very young children as I feel the stairs would be a hazard.

A spacious well equipped apartment

A lovely light, airy, spacious & well equipped apartment, literally 5 minutes walk from the seafront. We had a great 4 night stay in this apartment, there was 5 of us & we found that thanks to the space & layout, we weren't all cramped up together. A welcome hamper was left for us, which was a lovely touch and greatfully received.

A perfect location, close to town but far enough out that you don't get all the traffic & noise (apart from the seagulls). We would recommend.

Great place from which to explore

Well equipped great location.

We had a car but didn't use it much walking and buses and even the ferry were all great alternatives.

good apartment loverly kitchen

I was told there was off road parking there's only one space at rear and this is for the ground flat on arrival I had to park in next road down as there was no parking space in kings Road was able to find space in morning

Loverly bathroom but could do with a non slip mat for bath shower

its a about a 15 minutes walk to beach and town centre

we enjoyed our stay in a quiet location will stay again
