Why Caroline and Gwyn chose Scarborough
We absolutely adore Scarborough. So much to do here. From a traditional seaside holiday, beach chalets, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, walking, fishing, sailing, shopping, cinema, theatre, museums, eating - you name it!
Small well-behaved. Not on the beds/seating.

Lovely stat in Scarborough 😁

Lovely cottage in a great location
This is a great little cottage which sleeps 6 comfortably. It's in a lovely quiet neighbourhood in the old town below the castle with great views of the harbour and beyond, but is amazingly close to the bustle of the South Bay promenade. Also an easy walk to the town centre for shops and restaurants.
The cottage is well equipped and surprisingly spacious inside. You do have to get used to climbing a lot of stairs though!
The accommodation is superb, located in the old town, quiet location, but 2 mins walk to north bay beach and amenities.
There are beautiful sea views from 2 bedrooms, and are two children loved being on the top floor ‘ crows nest’.
The property is very clean with all modern conveniences/ dish washer, washing machine etc.
Highly recommend this property and location .
July 2019 for a one week stay
Perfectly described, beautiful property, and great comms from the owners. Couldn’t have asked for more, even the weather was great!
Perfect base for family holiday
Stayed for a week with our 2 sons and their wives. The cottage was perfect for our family holiday. The “kids” had the floor with the 2 bedrooms whilst us elders had the Crows nest which had fabulous views across the harbour and beyond. The spiral staircase was not a problem and added character to the cottage which was very well presented . There was plenty of seats and for us all to sit and chat in the evening before and after a night out. The location is also very good with the castle next door and the harbour about 5 minutes away. We took up some of Caroline and Gwyns recommendations and ate in a different restaurant each night, all of which were very good. All in all a real home from home and a perfect base for visiting Scarborough. Colin , Ruth , Chris , Amanda, Rob and Anna
Beautiful but not for the Physyicaly Challenged.
The Cottage is Beautiful, Location is Great but it's not for anyone that can't deal with Narrow Spiral Stairs,(4 floors). If your having tea and enjoying the weather & scenery in the Dinning Area and have to use the toilet, it will be 2 floors up. Other than this it was a Real Delight!
