The market town of Beccles is close by with outdoor swimming pool, local train station with numerous shops and eating places. Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are seaside towns only 30 minutes away, with Pleasure Beach and amusements. The popular town of Southwold with its Pier and harbour where you can buy fish freshly caught, take small boat ride to Walberswick or you can just relax on the sandy beaches is 40 minutes away. Peaceful Long Weekend
We all really enjoyed staying at this carefully and well converted barn. It was lovely to look out at the fields and to see boats sail by on the canal. We and especially Bonnie the dog, loved the quiet walk down to the canal, and to walk through the marsh flats and cows to the lovely town of Loddon. Sandra and Paul were very helpful, the eggs, milk and doggie treats gratefully received and it was a good location for exploring the Broads and Norwich. Thank you. The Loxton family
A great weekend break! Lovely surroundings, good take aways especially the Raj.
The property was clean with everything you need to eat in or out. The owners left us free range eggs, milk, biscuits and a pack of doggy treats for our dog! A very nice touch.
The only negative (very picky!!) in this heat a fan for the bedrooms and a garden umbrella would have been a great addition.
All in all a lovely weekend away!
Fantastic fully equipped cottage
Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at Lambs Crèche and a lovely weekend we had. Cottage was fully equipped even with fresh farm eggs and also a large tv and WiFi. Not far from the town about a 15 minute walk with lovely pubs and lots of takeaway restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back. Thank you Jessica and James
Thanks Jessica it was a pleasure having you
Lovely conversion, clean, nicely decorated & a super location.
Friendly welcome & super location. An easy walk to the town for supplies or takeaway and lovely walks over fields & along the canal. Ideal for families with dogs. Just over half an hour to either Norwich or to the coast.
Was a lovely break. Lambs Crèche was gorgeous and the village of Loddon is wonderful.
Property very clean and accommodating. Eggs and milk were a lovely gesture. Would definitely return! Thank you Paul & Sandra.
We stayed at this cottage for a few nights. We found it to be perfect for us, clean and comfortable and in a nice quiet location, a 10 minute walk to the small village of Loddon ( which has a few shops, a couple of pubs and some take-aways).
We met the owners Sandra and Paul on the first day who popped by just to check that everything was OK. They kindly left us some eggs, sugar, tea, coffee, milk and also some dog treats for our dog. The cottage is in a nice location near the Norfolk broads ( the river is just at the end of the road) and not too far to drive to the Norfolk/Suffolk beaches.
