About the property

4 Bedroom Semi-detatched House. Sleeps 7 Two bathrooms & additional separate WC

Situated on a modern estate and 4-5 minute walk from a wide expansive sweep of glorious golden sandy beach, Nautilus offers contemporary holiday accommodation in a highly sought after coastal village. The simply furnished lounge is on the ground floor where there is also a contemporary and spacious kitchen and an 8 seater dining table .

Upstairs, the house has four bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a super king sized bed with a pocket sprung & memory foam mattress. There is also a newly refurbished en suite bathroom, comprising a free standing bath with hand held shower, basin and toilet.

The second bedroom to the front of the house has a king sized bed also with a pocket sprung and memory foam mattress.

The third bedroom to the rear of the property, has bunk beds with full sized 3 ft memory foam mattresses. Therefore this bedroom is suitable for children and adults alike.

The fourth bedroom at the front of the property has a full sized single bed, also with a 3ft memory foam mattress, again suitable for an adult or child.

The main family bath room is also recently refurbished. It has a spacious modern shower enclosure, as well as a full sized fitted spa bath. There is also a wash basin and toilet.

There is a separate additional toilet downstairs.

This well equipped and comfortable property is a suitable choice for a gathering of families and friends alike, or maybe a family unit with grandparents.

At the rear of the property there is a fully enclosed garden with a decking area and outdoor furniture, making this perfect spot to dine alfresco whilst children are safe at play.

Nautilus sits in a modern development close to the spectacular Beadnell Bay, often described as the jewel in Northumberland’s seaside crown. The beach is idyllic for a relaxing stroll in all seasons. It is also a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts including sailing, sea kayaking, wind surfing and scuba diving and is only a short walk away. The well stocked village shop is a short drive or less than 15 minute walk away. There are two pubs serving good food within walking distance of the property as well as the recently opened Salt Water Café. A small sandy bay, speckled with rocky outcrops is also close by and leads to a long sandy beach that stretches two miles to the traditional fishing port of Seahouses, where boat trips to the nearby Farne Islands (famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony) depart regularly from its harbour.

Seahouses offers several tea rooms, amusements and shops with horse riding, fishing and golf on the links close by being only a sample of the many amenities available in this popular location. A further three miles up the coastline is the picturesque village of Bamburgh, which lies in the shadow of its majestic fortress. Holy Island (the birthplace of Christianity and site of Lindisfarne Castle) can be seen from the unspoilt golden, sandy beach. Just a few miles inland is the bustling market town of Alnwick, with its own dramatic castle (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Academy). Visitors can also enjoy a trip to Alnwick Gardens – a spectacular interpretation of a formal garden including the Grand Cascade waterfall and restaurant within the largest tree house in Europe! Nautilus is an excellent choice for those seeking a coastal retreat to rest and refresh with easy access to one of the most glorious beaches in Northumberland, deservedly designated as An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

About Angelina

As a child we were frequent visitors to Beadnell and the surrounding area for holidays. Since having a family we have spent many holidays in Northumberland, especially Beadnell, prompting us to invest in the village.

Angelina purchased this house in 2016

Why Angelina chose Beadnell

We fell in love with this moderns spacious property at first sight having seen it while staying in another property just around the corner. Its generous size, modern and wonderful location making it ideal for a holiday for young and old. Well appointed and equipped kitchen dinner, means that those that want to, can cater fully for themselves if they wish.

What makes this house unique

Less than 5 minutes walk to the nearest sandy beach where you can stay all day or just go for a quick stroll. Easy walking distance to pubs and village amenities in the old part of the village. Alternatively wide selection of pubs, restaurants and take-away (who will deliver), only 2.5 miles up the road.

For those more adventurous the St Oswald's Way,. Long distance walk passes the end of the road.

Real Home from home

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful holiday home. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends. Spotlessly clean and everything was well thought out as there was everything you could need in the kitchen etc. If come to the area again, will definitely want to come back. Beach is on the doorstep and can do many coastal walks from here. All the family enjoyed it.

A fantastic property!

  • 5 of 5

An absolute delight inside, spotlessly clean, meticulously resourced and maintained. We knew the location would be good having visited Beadnell many times.

Having rented holiday properties in the UK for over 30 years this most definitely was the best we've stayed in, very reasonably priced and one that we will definitely visit again.

The only downside was the weather, a particularly cold Easter!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. How you have described Nautilus is what we strive to achieve for our holiday home. I feel you have literally hit the nail on the head, so to speak. We aim to at the least maintain these standards, but to improve on them. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is very much sppreciated. We look forward to a repeat booking in the future. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the weather. Angelina
