St Ives is normally best enjoyed by strolling the cobbled streets, surfing the clear blue waters or perhaps painting a stunning piece of seascape from a sheltered spot. Well, when staying at 6 Sunnyside, that notion tends to be forgotten when sitting in one of the comfy chairs, a cup or glass of your favourite drink in hand and (mostly) feeling the sun on your face while spectating across St Ives harbour and beyond.

With the changing light, the busy fishing harbour and a plethora of activity during the busier weeks, you can quite easily lose hours to the spectacular views you enjoy from 6 Sunnyside's living room.

If you do want to head out and stretch your legs then you have everything you could possibly need right on your doorstep. The harbour beach is a matter of a few hundred sandy feet away (with deck chair rental if you fancy whiling away a few hours!). There is a fantastic selection of restaurants, tea rooms, bars, Cornish pubs, pasty or fish and chip take aways, sandy beaches with crystal clear waters, water sport providers, sight-seeing trips, school of painting, shops and galleries all within a short strolling distance.

6 Sunnyside is on the second floor so has the very best views possible, it takes 2 flights of stairs to reach the front door (the second flight is under cover). Once in the apartment, you are all on the same floor with one of the bedrooms having a zip and link configuration to either make a twin bedroom or king size bed. The other is a double room - both have harbour views from the side of the building. There are two bathrooms and a spacious living/ dining area with those show stopping views. The kitchen has everything you will need to enjoy a self-sufficient holiday if you don't fancy eating out. If you fancy watching a film of your choice on catch up or if you have a Netflix or Amazon account, the 32'' Smart TV means you can do exactly that. Free WiFi is available throughout the apartment.

Fabulous views, immaculate and modern property

Located in the perfect spot, this property has everything you need. Close to supermarkets, all of the walks, the carpark we found it perfect for our stay. Heating and hot water excellent, kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Instructions for everything that opens and closes included. We loved it and it was the best place we have ever stayed. Thanks ever so much for everything!!!!

This holiday was one of the best holidays I have ever had! The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. The view from the window was fantastic and hit us as soon as we entered the living room... (and we even saw seals right at the harbour from the window) We loved this holiday so much it's made me think I want to move here one day... thank you so much for providing such a wonderful stay

A beautiful flat in an ideal location.

All the basics right here: spotlessly clean, solid WiFi, modern high quality mattresses, friendly email support in build-up to stay, effective heating and well appointed kitchen. Location exceptional - in the heart of St Ives but in an elevated position slightly removed from the bustle. It like having a Royal Box from which to view the twice daily performance of the tide, with a supporting cast of fishermen, dogs and seagulls. The smaller bedroom has the better views which means if there are two couples sharing neither will feel bested. If fact you can see the sea from every room (even the <two> bathrooms enjoy a glimpse). The small kitchen is a triumph of design and also has a delightful view. Tips: a) if you take binoculars you can check the specials menu on blackboard at St Ives Cafe from the balcony b) if you take the kitchen seat furthest from the window you can take a beer from the fridge without getting up. Wracking my brain for improvements: a few of the kitchen knives were a bit blunt. All in a moderately expensive (for two) but simply gorgeous place to spend a few days.

Lantern Loft - St Ives was everything we wanted.

Terrific central location, literally a four minute walk to the train station car park. Extremely clean and well equipped. Great views from the lounge across the harbour. All the bits and pieces we needed were waiting for us on arrival, from washing up liquid to tea bags. Orange Roofs gave great service and offered ideal support right from the initial booking. One word of warning, don't rely on your car satnav to find the property, whereas Google maps will take you right to the door! Many thanks to Samantha and Ross for the perfect break.
