Just a few minutes walk from Lagos station and bus terminal, and just 10 minute walk to the closest beach and historic old town. A car is by no means a necessity here, but should you chose to rent one, then apartment has secure underground parking and 24hr security included.
Despite Lagos’ immense popularity, the town retains it’s authenticity and charm, while the closest beach boasts 4km of sandy coastline.
As well as Meia Praia; Praia do Camilo, Praia do Pinhão, Praia do Batata, Dona Ana and Porto Mos are close by to explore. Water sports available at the Marina include; windsurf, kayaking, fishing and dolphin safaris, cave tours, surf school and boat charter. The south-west coast is already a surf Mecca with tuition and equipment widely available.
A huge choice of restaurants and bars along the coast, in the marina and inside the old town cater for all tastes and budgets. Locally caught fish and shellfish are first class, and still traditionally cooked on the grill.
Lagos is well placed to explore the wild beaches and villages of Costa Vicentina Natural Park on the west coast and the mountain of Monchique.
A zoo and water park are also close by.

I'm Colin. Originally from UK, I moved to Portugal in 1999 and worked in Lisbon for 10 years. At every opportunity I travelled throughout the country, and in June 2014 decided to move to the south west coast, an area known as Costa Vicentina . The wild, often deserted coastline, the daily fish market, the local Tasca, the smell of grilled sardines and seafood toasting on the grill, the tiled houses, the clear blue skies, the people. Costa Vicentina and the western Algarve still offer a raw authenticity. This is what attracted me. This is 100% Portugal.

A top floor marina apartment, full of natural light and great energy. A peaceful location close to all local amenities. The apartment is very modern, impeccably clean, with open plan living area and both bedrooms having access to 18 m2 terrace, with marina views.
Beach 600 metres, Town centre 5 minutes stroll, supermarket 5 minutes walk, station 5 minutes. Guests can catch a train directly from Faro airport, with a 5 minute walk to the apartment. A car, not a necessity, however, should guests wish to explore further, free underground parking is included with 24 hour security.
Closest beach of Meia Praia, just 600 metres walk with 4km of sandy coastline, with many restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Fish market open daily and Farmers market every Saturday morning.

We enjoyed a lovely week in Colin’s well -equipped and comfortable apartment. It is in a really good location right next to the Marina and a short walk into the Old Town itself. Very clean apartment with nice views too.
Colin greeted us with a warm welcome at the train station and showed us to the apartment. We have visited Lagos before and know it quite well. Would recommend the cafe (very near the beach) at the train station as the local chap that runs it is quite a character. In the town itself Arrabella which is run Ken from London, it offers good food at reasonable price with a great atomsphere.
My husband and I came to Lagos to start our 3-week vacation in Portugal. We stayed at Colin's place for 5 nights and it was perfect. The condo location is ideal for walking to the beach, marina or downtown and it is in a nice, quiet building with secure parking. Colin was very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The unit is nicely furnished and has a very well equipped kitchen, if you like to cook. I would definitely stay here again.
Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage und für uns die passende Größe (4 Personen). Wir wurden von den Vermietern nett begüßt und die Schlüsselübergabe hat problemlos geklappt. Für die Aktivitäten vor Ort gab es noch sehr gute Tipps zu Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, vielen Dank dafür an Sandra und Collin!
Die Wohnung war sehr sauer und wie in der Beschreibung ausgestattet.

The apartment was brand new, clean, fully equipped with everything you might need, from kitchen tools and washing machine liquid to satellite tv and strong wireless connection.
Lovely balcony on the Marina, with table&chairs for extremely pleasant meals outdoors as well as sunchairs for sunbathing.
Very close to restaurants/bars/shops but at the same time in a quiet environment.
Walking distance to everything: the town center (5/10min), the beaches (10min), the train station (5min), a big supermarket (5min).
The owners Sandra & Colin, very kind and extremely helpful.
We recommend it to anyone.
