This delightful casa has been completely renovated keeping its traditional style and design. Formerly a farmhouse the casa benefits from the perfect location overlooking farmland and uninterrupted views towards the mediterranean.

The casa benefits from both air conditioning and heating, a private pool, outside terraces and absolutely stunning views. The casa is situated on a quiet one-way outer street in the last entirely unspoilt village of Maro in Spain’s Costa del Sol.

On the ground floor there is the dining room leading to a well-appointed and fully equipped modern kitchen. Appliances include dishwasher, fridge freezer, full cooker. An archway from the dining room takes you to a comfortable lounge with working fire place, TV, CD player and guest bathroom.

Double doors lead to a lower terrace with the 7m x 3m swimming pool with outside seating.

External stairs lead to the first floor which includes the sleeping area with en suite bathrooms and the private roof terrace.

The first floor has two double bedrooms ( one with twin beds) both with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Bedroom one has a Juliette balcony while bedroom two has a private balcony with a table and two chairs, both rooms enjoy the stunning views.

From the first floor the stairs continue on to the large private roof terrace with covered eating area, outside kitchen, BBQ and sun bathing area. From here the views are the most spectacular.

What better place to sit, relax, enjoy a glass of Cava as the sun sets...

A great place. Wonderful villa with all the amenities you would want. The view is amazing and the village is within close proximity to all types of activities. Wilma and Ralph responded immediately to our questions and we were never disappointed. Would return to this property in an instant.

A lovely villa.. felt very comfortable there.. the kids loved the swimming pool !

A good base to visit surrounding area.. plenty of variety to be found in the region.. caves at Nerja are spectacular and the town of Nerja has a relaxed friendly feel. Not far from Granada too.. Maro itself is very quiet and a nice retreat to come back to after a busy day. Ralph was very helpful when he came to visit the property, and recommended a trip to Marinas del Este which was very picturesque.

Simply stunning

A gem of a find - the views are breathtaking and the wonderfully restored house provided everything we could need. If you want peace, tranquility and uninterrupted views then this is the holiday retreat for you. Do not be put off by the road in front - literally counted 1 car in 2 hours going past. Roof top terrace an absolute bonus and of course the welcome freshness of the pool. Each room ensuite and spacious gives you privacy if you need it. Ideal for a couple or friends sharing as we were with lots of beaches to explore and walks galour. Simply stunning

Beautiful Casa in Fantastic location

Beautifully restored Casa yet still retaining its quirky charm in the very lovely quiet and peaceful village of Maro. The views are stunning from all floors with a lovely pool to cool down from the heat of the day. Handy shops within walking distance as well as bars and restaurants adding to the overall relaxing feel of the place. Great beach a short walk away with a great beach bar too. The Casa is exceptionally clean and very well equipped with everything you need. I will most definintely be returning again soon.

The very pretty and charming village of Maro, with a population of 800, is situated on the coast, 3 kilometres to the east of Nerja and 53 kilometres to the east of Malaga, in the region of Andalucia.

The most famous attraction are The Nerja Caves which are located close to Maro, which is a must see while you are here. Very few visitors knew anything about this part of the coast until 1959, when five young boys, out hunting for bats behind Maro discovered a remarkable system of caves and ancient cave paintings. Nowadays the caves attract visitors who come to wonder at this underground cathedral with its strange, melting-wax rocky architecture and what is reputed to be the largest natural column in the world.

Another attraction, which is not far from the village centre, is the Águila Aqueduct. This was built between 1879 and 1880, to ensure that water would reach the San Joaquín sugar factory.

Your holiday in the area is not complete without a visit to the beautiful village of Frigiliana in fact, the village of Frigiliana has received a number of awards for its beauty and conservation.

As well as Frigiliana, the vibrant town of Nerja is 3 k from Maro. Nerja boasts many bars, restaurants and shops.The famous Balcon de Europa is the centre of the town where most visitors aim for to enjoy the wonderful back drop of the mountains that encircle the area.
