Having stayed in many charming apartments abroad I wanted to offer people a cosy place to stay in London.

Why Stefanie chose West Kensington

The apartment is in a stucco Victorian house on a quiet street on the western edge of West Kensington, bordering Shepherd's Bush with all its amenities and great transport links! The neighbourhood has everything imaginable, including two shopping centres; one being Westfield - Europe's biggest inner-city complex, which along with over 250 stores, has restaurants, cinemas, a gym, spa and many other amenities.

This characterful, light apartment has a large south-facing balcony that gets the sun all day. It is beautifully furnished and benefits from a high-end, open-plan Nolte kitchen with real quartz countertops, which comes fully equipped for all your culinary needs. The living-room is bright, with great London views, and furnished with Art Deco and Art Nouveau pieces. The bedroom has an exceptionally comfortable Vi-spring bed (The world's leading brand in luxury, handmade beds - they supplied the Titanic!)

I had another lovely stay in this comfortable apartment, which is even more delightful in summer as the large balcony is perfect for relaxing in the sunshine and enjoying the spectacular views. A great home from home! Highly recommended.

Gorgeous little flat in Hammersmith...

A lovely flat in a vibrant neighborhood with grocery, cafe, and other amenities footsteps away. Also an easy walk to the conference hall, a slew of great restaurants, and easy access to public transportation. What an ideal location for your next London stay!

Very charming apartment in a very convenient location

The apartment is nicely decorated and comfortable. It was very easy to get to the different places on our agenda because it is located near the Central Line. Good coffee shop near the apartment if you don't want to make it in the apartment. Also best ever Tapas and happy hour in the Westfield Shopping Center at Tapas Revolution. It was an unlikely place to find this restaurant but it was great.

Nice London apartment in a great location

The property was ideally located for us during our few days in London. It is in a quiet residential area but only a 5 minute walk from Shepherds Bush underground with excellent connections to anywhere in the city. The modern Westfield shopping complex is also just a short walk away, for access to fantastic shopping and a good selection of eateries all under one roof - ideal for a rainy day.

The flat is well furnished and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It being on the top floor (3rd) means you get a balcony and nice view of the streets below, but the last set of stairs up to the flat are slightly narrow and steep, and a bit of a challenge if you are laden with luggage. The bedroom is also quite small but this was not a major issue for a short stay.

Stefanie and Matt were excellent at keeping in touch both prior and during our stay and were able to answer any questions quickly. I would score the property 4.5 out of 5 if the rating system on HomeAway allowed me to do so.

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön. Sie ist bestens ausgestattet. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist traumhaft. Sehr gefallen hat mir die Lage. Es ist eine schöne Umgebung und durch die Nähe zur U Bahn kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut erreichen. Ich hatte einen tollen Urlaub! Danke, ich kann die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen. Danke, danke, danke!!!
