A listed granite barn on a very quiet lane, ten minutes from the sea, beaches, with a wealth of opportunities for walking and cycling on coastal paths, along tranquil lanes, all within minutes of the property.

The listed barn, and owner's house next door, have both been in the family since they were built a hundred years ago. The property has fields on three sides, which continue in agricultural use, mostly hay-making.

Restaurants and supermarket shopping are available close by, and the bus to St Peter Port stops 3 minutes away, at the bottom of the lane.

Lovely clean, spacious barn

We had an excellent stay here! The kitchen was well-equipped and the welcome pack was very welcome :) Felicity was accommodating and helpful when we had questions. We would very happily stay here again.

Fabulous accomodation in lovely Guernsey

The island of Guersey and the people is very inviting and has a charm rarely found nowadays.

The accomodation was excellent insofar as it has been well modernized, laid out exceptionally well, is well equiped and the owner, Felicity, is a model host that doesnt impinge on you but does provide local knowledge and help when required.

Finding the property without a satnav isnt easy but map reading is a skill that returns quickly when needs must.

The location is convienient for public transport, beaches and essential food shopping (incl a M&S Food) but is quiet so you can enjoy the garden and sunshine.

La Foliette (and Guernsey) had everything we needed for a wonderful week's holiday. The property is spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped, and outside there is space to park a car.

Excellent holiday accommodation

Wonderful, modern and comfortable holiday accommodation in a well designed barn conversion full of character. Facilities were excellent - modern kitchen and bathroom, wifi and freeview tv channels. Well situated in Vale, on a Ruette Tranquille (quiet lane) there are beaches and bays within a few minutes walk. Very helpful owners. Great part of the island for a holiday stay.

Two excellent weeks in spring 2017

We spent two wonderful weeks in this great and superbly equipped cottage. Everything was perfect and if anything was missing, Felicity helped out at once.

She also gave us precious hints about things to do or see and we really felt home from home. We can fully recomend this cottage to anyone, who looks for a beautiful home in silent and quite rural setting.

Lovely! A comfortable and quiet holiday getaway

We had a great stay in the barn conversion. It is tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and very clean everywhere. The kitchen had all we needed and the owners were very kind, helpful and thoughtful. It was well placed for touring the island on bikes and near to beaches. Well worth a visit.
