Borden's is a historic hotel located in downtown Whitehall Montana that has been converted to nine apartment units on the second floor. Apartment 203 overlooks Main and Legion streets and the Tobacco Root Mountains to the east. It sleeps 1-2 people and can be accessed by an elevator or stairs.
Walk to restaurants, bars, the newly updated Star Theater, events at the Whitehall Community Center and downtown shops. The Borden's building was and continues to be at the center of life in Whitehall Montana. From here you can explore fishing or boating on the Jefferson, hiking or hunting in the Tobacco Root Mountains or simply drives through the thousands of acres of public lands that surround Whitehall.
The apartment has a small but newly installed kitchen with stove, refrigerator and vent hoods. There is ample parking on both sides of the street to the east and south of the building.
Borden Owner is owned and operated by Jefferson County's lead economic development organization. The JLDC bought Borden's in 2010 in an effort to revitalize downtown after many key businesses were destroyed by a fire in 2009.
Borden's underwent a complete renovation in 2014. There are now nine apartments on the second floor and commercial, retail and office space on the first floor.

Borden's was the center of social life in Whitehall since it opened on New Year's Eve 2013. Over the years, Borden's has been home to many businesses including a hotel, bar, restaurant, barber shop, telephone switch board, billiard hall, ice cream shop and general store. It is the first and only building in Whitehall on the National Registry of Historic Places.
Borden's is located downtown and only steps away from Whitehall's bars, restaurants, the newly upgraded Star Theater, the library, shops and drug store. The building has historic charm with all the benefits of new construction including modern cabinetry, new appliances, refinished wood floors, gleaming tile bathrooms and updated mechanical systems.
The Borden's building is located in the heart of downtown Whitehall. Restaurants, shops, bars and the movie theater are just steps away.
The Jefferson River flows to the south of town and offers excellent, undiscovered, fishing and boating opportunities. The Tobacco Root Mountains lie to the south, the Highland Mountain Range is to the west and the Bull Mountains are to the North and East. Public lands surround the town making it very easy for hiking, camping and hunting.
Helena is one hour's drive to the north, Bozeman is an hour's drive to the East and Butte is a half-hour to the west.
