Come and experience Tucson at its best ..... peace and privacy with breathtaking views !
I'm originally from Chicago but grew tired of the harsh winters and brutal summers. So, in 1993, I said adios to Chicago and began my quest to start a new life out West. I visited Tucson and it was love at first sight. The natural beauty is magnificent and the weather is glorious. The people of Tucson are very friendly, helpful and pleasant. There are so many things to enjoy in Tucson ..... there is something for everyone!
Kathy Ryan purchased this house in 2009
I am a licensed real estate broker in the state of Arizona so I am familiar with the many areas of Tucson. I especially love this area of town because it is not overpopulated and there are no traffic jams to deal with. The area is surrounded by natural beauty and enhanced by wide open spaces and gorgeous scenery. The area is home to many species of wild-life and other eye-candy like rainbows that stretch across the sky, sweeping mountain views, desert flora, clean, fresh air and star-studded skies at night. The area certainly has a rural feeling to it, but is conveniently located to all sorts of amenities and necessities.
I live only minutes away from the rental home, so my guests have the extra peace of mind that any unexpected issues will be resolved immediately. My goal is to provide you with a memorable vacation experience that leaves you wanting to return again and again and again!
This was a lovely property. We were looking for a warm weather getaway at the last minute. ..a place near the mountains, with pretty views, and space for two families. This house was perfect! Kathy was great to work with and communication was quick and clear. The house is fully stocked, beds were comfortable, nice back yard. Highly recommended ;)
This house was everything as described in listing and more. Well decorated with attention to detail. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen for cooking or baking if that is your desire. Plenty of linens and towels. The house is pet friendly with a fenced yard. Our dogs loved it! There are two binders. One with all the information regarding the house, all appliances, dish t.v., electronics, utilities ,anything you can imagine concerning the house. The second one was filled with information regarding tourist attractions in and around Tucson. This made our planning very easy and we saw and did so much more because of this. Kathy is a gracious host. Very easy to deal with. Was at the house when we arrived to show us around and answer any questions we had. If you encounter any problems during your stay she is available to help. Thank you for making our first trip to Tucson so enjoyable!
My husband and I rented this lovely home, located in Vail at the end of a quiet residential cul de sac, in February. Nestled close to the Rincon mtn range, the view is very picturesque. There is a beautiful DelWebb golf course nearby that is open to the public and offers very reasonable rates, especially on weekdays. The home is also close to Saquaro National Park east, which has some wonderful hiking and a scenic drive through that is very popular.
The home was well furnished and up to date. There is a lovely patio in the back that we used frequently.
Kathy, the owner, was very helpful and available if we had any concerns or questions.
We would definitely recommend the home to anyone visiting Tucson!
As this was our first experience with VRBO we weren't sure what awaited us but the house exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped, stocked with many necessities, very clean, and in a quiet location. Viewing the mountains each morning was an added bonus. Kathy was a terrific host. Can't say enough good things about her! From our first emails, she was warm, friendly and so helpful. She was there to greet us and show us around the first night even though it was well after midnight. After a long tiring day of travel this was much appreciated as we didn't have to enter a strange dark house. It was reassuring to know that she was nearby if we needed her. Kathy and her home get a rating of 5 from us. If we could give it a higher rating, we would not hesitate to do so as they certainly deserve it! Our stay in Tucson was both relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you, Kathy!
With less than 1 week before we were set to arrive for our son's wedding, we lost our previous arrangements. Kathy & Sal were very understanding and helped us over and above the call of duty. This home is spotless, well equipped and we felt at home for the 6 days we were in Tucson. While outside the city limits, the commute is less than 15-20 minutes for area attractions. Since our family wedding was the same weekend as graduation at the University, we had few options. When we met Kathy, I knew we had made the right decision. She had even planted new flowers for us. We would highly recommend this home. We plan to go back later this year! THANK YOU for making our stay in Tucson relaxing and memorable!
This property is located 15 minutes east from the outskirts of Tucson. Perfect location for bicycle enthusiasts with Saguaro National Park six miles to the west and Colossal Cave Mountain park six miles to the east and light traffic in between. As Olyyy stated in a previous review, Kathy and Sal are the kindest and most helpful people you ever want to meet. They attended to all our needs. If you like the outdoors, two bikes with helmets were provided. If you wanted to picnic-a fully loaded picnic basket was available. If you wanted to barbeque--all the appropriate tools were provided. In the back yard is a patio which was great for sun bathing, but also a covered area if you dislike the sun.
Inside the kitchen was a cook's paradise. High quality equipment are the standard. Stainless steel pots and pans with copper bottoms were wonderful to cook with. Included was a food processor, a powerful blender which was perfect for making sorbets, and a top of the line mixer with all the attachments if you are interested in baking. So many tools that even a chef would be happy.
As for the men, HD TV's in all the bedrooms and living room with DVR service and three separate tuners meaning you can record three shows at the same time if need be. I didn't check but I believe there was a DVD player available for use and for sure there were a lot of recorded movies.
Mountain views located in the kitchen, living room and master bedrooms. Bathrooms were clean with no mold visible. All in all a place one could call home!
Thank you Kathy and Sal! A five star rating for you!
