We are business owners on Beale Street. Always loved the idea of having an apt there and when this became available, we were lucky enough to be able to buy it. This is a unique property for there are no other residential units on the street. Everything is right outside your door.
Angie Chittom purchased this apartment in 2012
This place was perfect. The ambiance makes you feel like you are right on Beale Street (and you are!). The location couldn't be better. Angie is the best host I have ever had on HomeAway or it's competitirs. She will ensure your stay is enjoyable!
We have been coming to Memphis yearly now to visit family and go the the Music Festival for a few years now ...we have stayed around town in a few hotels for the most part ...When we found this lovely slice of downtown Heaven we were wondering if our dreams came true ....Well it most certainly did !!!
Smack in the middle of all the fun in the world you could ever have ....They have everything you could ever need
it was home away from home ,,,It does have a NIGHT-life of it's own ..but where else would you rather be ...the master bathroom was out of this world and if you could bring home with you it would already be there
this will be the only place in town to stay when you want to be in the middle of it all ...
we pray we can stay there again .....the owners are just Fantastic people ...and we thank them for a most wonderful stay
It was amazing to find an apartment on Beale Street right in the middle of the block of restaurants, bars and stores. The only rental on that section of Beale. The apartment is very nice with plush bed in the bedroom, a Murphy bed in the living area which was perfect for my two grown daughters. Fully furnished kitchen including icemaker. Large bathroom with double head shower. The apartment is up a flight of stairs on the second level and three windows overlook Beale. It was fascinating sitting watching the people go by. Flynn's is right across the street. Miss Pollys cafe is 10 feet from the door, we ate breakfast there and it was wonderful. My daughters could stay out late and simply come inside whenever they wanted without having to walk to a hotel, parking lot or trolley. The Orpheum is two blocks west and FedEx Forum is a couple of blocks east. The only negative which really was not a negative for us, is the sounds of Beale street at night and in particular the outdoor speakers of Flynn's across the street which stays open late. Angie provides ear plugs which takes care of that issue. No question we will stay there again at our next visit to Memphis. Highly recommended.
