We have off road parking to the front of the house.
The thickness of the old walls ensure the property stays cool in the summer.
We have figs trees , and a cherry tree, figs and almonds and in season you can help yourself, we also have some free range chickens so eggs may be available also.
There is plenty of outside space and the rear of the property looks over the countryside. The front garden has fresh mint , sage, and Bay leaves that you can use for cooking.

Don't forget the International L'isle sur La Sorgue Antiques fair is held twice a year at easter and on or around the 15 August each year, it is an event not to be missed.
Close to amenities the perfect place to explore from. 7 kms from the Antique centre of the south of France. Avignon, Gordes, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, within easy reach.
Summer provencal Markets within the vicinity every day from the largest to the small village produce. Fresh vegetables in abundance, cheese and local wine galore. Wine lovers can taste the local produce at numerous cave de vin, many just a stones throw away. Chateauneuf de papes not too far away.
L isle sur la sorgue has a large market on Sundays with local produce but also with an antiques market which is held all day winter and summer. The town of L'isle sur la sorgue is the second largest antique centre in France and is just 5 mins from the house. you have to be there early though as parking is harder the later you get there!
You can have food pre prepared for you by a local chef, all you have to do is heat it up and dine away, great after a day out! This service is available on request and Jane will send you a menu.
The Provence Country Club is a stones throw away and super for golfers.
Kayaking is available down the river Sorgue from near its source down to l'isle sur la sorgue, in the busy season its good to reserve a trip Canoe evasion are great at accommodation people and its a super couple for hours in the cool clear waters of the Sorgue which is truly magical!
The ancient roman cities of ARLES, and Nimes are approx. 1 hr drive away.
Marseille airport is 50 mins away, Avignon TGV is 45 mins away and easy to navigate. Avignon airport is 20 mins away but it is only small.
Lavender fields and sunflower fields are close by in the hot summer months. it really is a great area to be.
If dining out is your thing, then we have a list of restaurants recommended by locals and fellow tourists, and if you do not speak french I will make a reservation for you if required.
