LION HOUSE APARTMENT

Just a few steps from the delightful Esplanade with its picturesque sea views and a five-minute walk to town , is this large , airy apartment which occupies the whole of one floor of a large Victorian villa. It is equipped to a high standard with solid oak flooring to the lounge and bedrooms. The lounge features a sumptuous leather Chesterfield sofa for you to relax after a day on the beach or walking on cliff paths. There is a newly installed quality bathroom with Mira shower and deep bath, bespoke kitchen with a super Rangemaster stove cooker , handy dishwasher and built-in fridge-freezer .There is also a 32 inch TV with Freeview and a second TV with built-in DVD player . So, everything you need for a relaxing home from home and lots of period charm. The solid oak beds are provided with high quality linens and the floors ornamented by real Persian carpets. Fluffy 'Christy' towels provided for each guest ( one bath and one hand towel).

Internet is provided throughout the apartment.

For day-to-day shopping, you will find a range of local shops including a supermarket, pizza place and fish and chip shop. Plenty of quiet on-street parking around the apartment with complimentary parking strips for your whole stay ( 2 four-day permits) . Please note : There are some stairs up to the entrance door as it is on the first floor.Handrail for outdoor steps which are wide and not too steep and bannister for interior steps.

excellent holiday home 10/10

This was a very clean holiday home, lovely big rooms, we loved the view from the living room.

Every utensil and piece of kitchen equipment you could ever need in the kitchen and the welcome cake, milk, tea and coffee as we arrived was a lovely touch.

The owner was extremely help full when we needed advise.

Very easy walking distance to the beach, and plenty of local shops and take away s near by. A short walk to the main big shopping center.

4 mins from a lovely Indian restaurant (and take away ) 'Rice and spice', we defiantly recommend it.

Peasholm Park is not to far away in the north bay and people can hire boats and pedaloes on the lake there, its excellent for families. The sea life Sanctuary is a lovely day out too.

We can t recommend this holiday home enough we had 7 brilliant days there in lovely sunny Scarborough.

Well appointed apartment in very convenient position

The apartment was enormous, with lots of lovely original features and interesting furniture (being Arts & Crafts movement enthusiasts, we noticed that the dining table appeared to be Cotswold style). The apartment had everything that we needed for our stay and was within walking distance of all attractions; the only drawback was that it was situated on a very busy road, which could be noisy at times. The wonderful "Pre-Raphaelite" church was minutes away, as was the beach and South Cliff gardens. We also visited the art gallery and castle, both very worthwhile. For a superb Italian meal, we can recommend "Lanterna" (in Queen Street). We were extremely lucky with the weather so, to summarise, had a lovely holiday.

Lovely apartment

Very spacious clean apartment. Everything there you could need for holiday, even tea and coffee, sugar, shower gel. Plenty of pots and pans and cutlery. Highly recommend this apartment. Nicole was very helpful even tho we didn't meet her. But we could text anytime
