A Perfect Retreat

The Villa was very clean, very well equipped and felt very much a 'home from home'. We were also delighted to discover a lovely selection of food had been freshly prepared for us on our arrival. The dessert in particular was stunning. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach, and around 10 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The owner, Jef, was readily available and very helpful in answering any queries we had throughout our stay. He also responded very quickly during the run up to our trip. I would thoroughly recommend this Villa.

Excellent!

A lovely, well-equipped villa with pool, situated near the dunes and sea.

The owner and team were really helpful and pleasant. I loved the little touches like the bath-robes and the supper left in the fridge for our first evening.

A good centre for visiting the area - El Puerto de Sta Maria itself (visiting a bodega is well worth it!), Jerez de la Frontera (especially the Alcázar), the pueblos blancos like Arcos de la Frontera (recommend getting there fairly early so as to find parking!), Cádiz (lots, esp. the Phoenician history museum). Taking the catamaran to Cádiz was a bit different.

Good food and drink (esp. fino and tapas) at amazing prices.

The Atlantic was really warm in September.

Tolles Ferienhaus mit allem möglichem Komfort

Richtig tolles Haus mit wirklich erstklassiger Ausstattung und super nettem Vermieter. Sehr netter Empfang mit Verpflegung, schöne Umgebung , Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und Strand in ca 5 min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Jederzeit gerne wieder !!

Villa magnifique

Merci Jef pour ces vacances superbes ! Une villa magnifique et très agréable ! Nous avons rarement eu à faire à des personnes aussi accueillantes et sympathiques ! La paella de Bibi est exceptionnelle, la compagnie de Pepe fort agréable, bref un petit couple fort sympathique et un propriétaire à nos petits soins !!!!

Le vin blanc du pays très bon et nous avons été très déçus de ne pas pouvoir emporter les bouteilles restantes dans nos valises 😉? !

Au risque de me répéter, encore merci Jef pour votre hospitalité, votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse !

Excellent house

A lovely house with a lot of space. The house is very beautifully decorated and has all assests and more that you need for a perfect holiday. The landlords are very serviceminded and takes care of the guests and the house. We can really recommend this house for a vacation in the area.

Port - known as the local - is located at the mouth of the river Guadalete in the Bay of Cadiz.

Next to Sanlucar de Barrameda and Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto forms the Triangle Jerez.

Numerous wineries are responsible for giving it a very special character to this city of the Hundred Palaces.

From the Plaza de Toros you can visit the historic city center with its old houses palace, the Castle of Alfonso the Wise, the main church and the numerous tapas bars and pubs.

Around the Market Square there is always a very friendly atmosphere.

A typical breakfast at "Vicente Bar" will make you discover the authentic flavor of this city.

The pine forests of San Anton dunes and the beautiful white sand beaches offer you the chance to cool off.

Through the calm waters of the Bay of Cadiz, in less than half an hour, the catamaran takes you to the heart of the oldest city in Europe: Cádiz.

Jerez airport is just 20 minutes.

The station connects the city with Cadiz in 20 minutes, while Seville is just over an hour.

The center of Madrid is just four hours by high speed train.
