The Cove development just outside of Brixham sits next to Battery Gardens and the South West Costal Path in an area of of outstanding natural beauty. Osprey 2 is on the front row of this development in what is quite probably the best location, with uninterrupted sea views from the lounge, double bedroom and large decked balcony.

Whether relaxing in the lounge or eating alfresco on the large balcony, be entranced by the amazing views surrounding you - to your right are the green woods of Battery Park (National Trust Woodland) and straight ahead, the majestic blues of Torbay unfold. The large balcony is accessed from the master bedroom and the lounge. A dedicated parking space is included as are wi-fi and quality bed linen & towels.

The apartment is furnished and decorated in slick modern style with high quality furniture and fixtures.

Short breaks of 3 nights or more are available most of the year except the 5 peak summer holiday weeks.

Osprey 2 - The cove Brixham is a super luxury front row apartment in this lovely development just above Fishcombe Cove. Beautiful location with stunning views. Fishcombe Bay & Churston Bay just gorgeous & literally on the doorstep.

Excellent location, fantastic views, only 10/15 minutes walk along coastal path to Brixham Harbour. Apartment very well equipped and comfortable. Hope to visit again.

Lovely week in Devon.

We spent a week from the 15th of March in this lovely accommodation. Despite being snowed in for 2 and a half days we had a wonderful time. The apartment was really nice. It was very modern with almost everything you could ever need. My only very very minor gripes would be that there could be more coat hangers and some hooks on the backs of the bedroom doors for dressing gowns. The heating worked well so we kept nice and warm during the snow. The setting of the apartment is fantastic! It really is hard to drag yourself away from the view especially when the seals are in the cove. We didn't have dinner for the 2 nights of snow so were very grateful to find the Bay View restaurant in the holiday park behind us had just opened for the season. We staggered through the blizzard and were pleasantly surprised to have 2 lovely meals there.

It was great to have secure designated parking although the gate code did play up a couple of times. One of the residents said they do sometimes have problems when the weather is bad.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment and hope we will be back in a couple of years.

Very good location and apartment

The apartment was in a fabulous location, with outstanding views.

We were there during the worst weather - snow and storm and the apartment was lovely, warm and cozy.

The apartment had everything you may need, very well equipped kitchen ( much better than normally in places like that).

I would say that what needs improving is customer service. It snowed when we were there. I called the office and said we were leaving next day and there was lots of snow in front of the gate to the Estate with apartments. I said there is no way we will be able to get out and go home next morning. The gentleman initially said it was Council’s job, but I said it was not Council as it was their gate. He said he will call the Managment company. I have not heard from him at all. I think even if the gentleman did not receive a phone call back from the Managment Company he should call us back anyway. How would we leave this place next day if there was a mountain of snow blown by wind in front of this gate.Luckily it rained very heavily and the snow melted. It needed someone to come and move the snow. This is simply for safety reasons. I am disappointed woth that.

We had other guests staying at The Cove at the same time and we contacted the management company who assured us that the snow would be cleared so that everyone had access to and from the development. It was a very busy time for us with lots of weather related issues to deal with and I thought we had returned all calls but clearly we missed you. Once again, please accept my apologies for this. I'm glad that you were able to safely leave the next morning.

A great short break base for exploring

It was our first time in Devon and needed a good comfortable base to travel and get about easy to other places. The paperwork and guides provided after the transaction were very clear, and re-assuring, detailing parking and how to gain entry, along with a really useful guide on what to do in the area. The complex was beautifully laid out, and clearly well looked after. Situated in a lovely quiet cove, there was great views, and I honestly felt the right decision was made for the upper Osprey apartment as it seemed to have the best view. I was right. It was a short 'trek' from the car park and entry was easy enough. The apartment was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils to enable self catering to cook our own meals, and just enjoy the apartment. The views were great. Once warmed up with the heating on, we presumed it had been empty a while, the apartment was very comfortable and relaxing to be in. We met the caretaker, Noddy, who we found ot be really friendly and polite, giving us some local knowledge which was really nice. As a base, we used it to access Paignton/Torquay, a mere 15 minute drive away, to also visit Brixham, and on one day a two hour drive to the Eden Project. There are three supermarkets nearby, Aldi, Sainsburys and Asda, and a very well priced Texaco garage nearby outside of Brixham. This apartment and base comes highly recommended, though the only disappointment on this occasion was not seeing Sammy the Seal, who the caretaker did advise was around, but was probably in the marina scouring for fish from the local fishermen....
