Our mid-valley, storybook log cabin has three bedrooms plus a spacious loft, and two full baths. It has an open, inviting floor plan with ample seating close to the cozy fireplace and a wonderful backyard. Come Stay, you may never leave! Our home is welcoming, warm, and cozy in winter and nestled in mature, private landscaping in summer. We enjoy beautiful, unobstructed views, often grilling and dining outside throughout the summer on our furnished, shaded patio.
We are a pair of east coast transplants who fell in love with the Wood River Valley and never left. We are raising 12 year old twin boys, Huck and Ridge, and as a family enjoy many seasonal recreational activities together. Lisa works at a local Pre-K-12 school and Brian is a facilities manager at the Ketchum YMCA, as well as a long-time ski patroller.

When we set out to become homeowners we gravitated towards the rustic, soothing charm of handcrafted log cabins, happily purchasing one of our very own and completing our dream of 'real' mountain living. Over the years we have worked to transform our house into home and our backyard into a park-like oasis. We LOVE it and we hope you will too!

This cabin had everything we needed for a week-long get-together of 8 family members. The cabin is clean and comfortable, well-maintained, and well-equipped for cooking and entertainment. By far our favorite part of the cabin was the back yard, where many hours were spent reading, talking, napping, and eating. We also took advantage of walking and hiking trails, and sight-seeing in the Hailey/Ketchum/Sun Valley area, all of which were close by and easily accessed. The cabin owners were responsive to our questions both before and during our visit, and checked in on us via text message to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this cabin and its owners to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while enjoying the the Big Wood River Valley.
We had a wonderful stay! Right from the start, our breath was taken away by the beauty of the house AND it's surroundings.
The owners left very helpful tips to make our stay comfortable and also made themselves available in case we had any problems.
The cabin was very clean and spacious. Everything we could've needed was left available to us (ex: flash lights, chargers, cooking and cleaning supplies)
The location was close to hiking trails, a river you can wade in, close to Hailey for grocery shopping.
We made good memories here, one being a proposal!
We will definitely recommend this location to others and also would consider staying here again for our next vacation!
Thanks so much for opening your lovely home to us!
We LOVED our stay in this cabin! There were 4 adults and a two year old and it was PERFECT! Great location! The backyard is AWESOME and a perfect place for kiddos to play and grown ups to relax with a beautiful view. Thank you for sharing your home and answering all our questions leading up to our stay!
Our property is centrally located between Ketchum/Sun Valley and Hailey, allowing guests to optimize recreation, shopping, and dining opportunities in both communities. Access to skiing (alpine and nordic) and summer trails (hiking and mountain biking), including the Wood River Bike Path, is very straightforward and convenient. Redfish Lake, the majestic Sawtooth Mountains, and world-class whitewater rafting opportunities are one hour away by car.
