1000 Square Feet with One Bedroom and 2 Full baths. Sleeper sofa in living room

Hurricane Irma Damage Update: The condo is very livable and in great condition, other than the issues listed below. There have been renters in the condo since March, without any issues. The complex property, pools, tennis courts, etc. have all been repaired and are in excellent condition.

There are pictures in the photo section of these issues.

1. The Lanai has a temporary wood railing on the left side. The rest of the lanai cage is still intact. The entire lania is screened in. The railing has been approved by the city building inspector. We have to wait for the association to replace.

2. There are two very small areas that the association contractor took out to look for damage. Those areas are covered by plastic and also the drapes and recliner somewhat cover them. We have to wait for the association to replace.

3. There are two sets of patio doors that go out to the lanai. The one set to the right does not open due the frame in the middle being bent. The second set of patio doors to the lania opens fine. Again, have to wait for the association to replace.

4. There is plexiglass over the window to the right of the main door.

5. There is a box in the entrance room where there used to be a desk, which has a vanity cabinet in, that we are waiting to have a contractor install. This area is does not affect the living area of the condo.

This condo is unique from most of the other listings at Riverside Club, because this condo has one bedroom with TWO FULL BATHROOMS and is 200 square feet LARGER than the one bedroom/one bath condos.

Another unique feature of this property over many of the other properties, is that this condo has a WASHER I also have had renters in the condo in March, April and May.IANCES and NEW RECLINER IN THE LIVING ROOM. and DRYER.

There is a master bedroom with a Tommy Bahama KING BED and NEW mattress.. The bed has a Tommy Bahama Duvet cover over a down comforter. The master bedroom has an EN SUITE BATHROOM with a granite counter top and a WALK IN SHOWER with glass doors.

There is a SLEEPER SOFA in the living room and there is a BATHROOM right off the living room area to be used by any guests using the sleeper sofa. This bathroom has a TUB and SHOWER. There is also a closet available for these guests.

Master bedroom also has new Samsung 32 inch Smart TV.

Beautiful 20 inch ceramic TILE INSTALLED THROUGHOUT THE CONDO with area rugs for comfort.

Riverside Club has a MILLION DOLLAR VIEW. This condo is unique in that it has a 180 DEGREE beautiful VIEW of the water, boat docks, marina, pool and bridge. It is a great place for people watching and to view boats, birds and other water activity. Guests love the view.

There is WIRELESS INTERNET in the condo and CABLE TV. We DO NOT have a phone service, so bring your cell phone. The living room TV is a new SAMSUNG SMART TV, so you can easily connect media streaming boxes such as Roku, Apple TV, or your computer to the TV.

There is a FISHING PIER with underwater lights. Riverside Club also has a SMALL MARINA on the fishing pier.

BOAT DOCKS are available. Contact owner for information on renting.

The property also has 3 lighted TENNIS COURTS and 3 lighted GAS GRILL areas. There is also a SHUFFLEBOARD COURTS.

You can swim in TWO HEATED POOLS, sit in the TWO HOT TUBS, or just sit on our balcony and relax and watch people, boats and birds going by and many days you will see dolphins playing within easy view of the balcony.

The property is beautifully landscaped with many plants and the property is very well maintained. You can take a walk along the water and view the boats going by.

Marco Island is an incredible place. From the condo, you can take wonderful walks. You can walk past a marina, walk to MANY restaurants, shops, The Esplanade, The Shops of Old Marco, Snook's (very popular restaurant on the water), etc. You can rent a sailboat, kayaks, go golfing, ride bikes, take a cruise to Key West, rent a boat for the day at Rose Marina and go fishing, go for lunch in Naples, Isle of Capri, Goodland, or one of the many restaurants within walking distance of the condo or easy driving distance. Fishing is available in the many backwater areas.

You can access Tigertail Beach in a short 2.5 mile drive. There are also several other beaches you can go and sit on, look for shells, or take a walk. You also could run down to the Everglades for the day.

Why Judy Zimmerman chose Marco Island

We fell in love with Marco Island and Riverside Club when we rented in April, 2014. We came back and rented in January, 2015 and realized that Marco and Riverside are both special places and decided to buy our own place. We love that we can walk to shops, marinas, stores and many restaurants. Most of Marco is residential, so there isn't as much traffic as some other areas in Florida. It is far enough south that you are guaranteed warm weather in the winter. There is also so much water area for fishing and boating.

What makes this condo unique

A friendly complex with unbelievable views of the water and bridge onto Marco Island. Easy to get to and easy to walk to many restaurants and a large marina just down the road. Two large heated pools and docks line the property out front for boating and fishing.

GREAT Condo, Location and property!

Stayed here and loved it! The condo was very clean and nicely appointed. Updated appliances plus the washer and dryer made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. The King Size Bed was comfortable for even my sensitive back. The location of the unit, in the Riverside complex was ideal, as we sat on the large lanai, over looking the pool and the water front. I am a stickler about water pressure in showers. This unit’s water pressure and water temperature was excellent! We never worried about low shower head pressure, as it was like a fire hose.

Dealing with the owner, Judy was very pleasurable and efficient. Once our deposit was received, she forwarded us the rental agreement and instructions on how to enter the property and condo.

Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone considering a stay in Marco Island. It is within a few minutes of several nice restaurants, grocery stores and other retail shops. It is also minutes from San Marco Catholic Church, for mass.

I would also recommend eating at Joey’s Pizza-Marco Island, for the closest thing to Chicago Style Pizza. It was great. I would also recommend, Little Bar, in Goodland for great seafood dinner.

Will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my closest friends and relatives.

Beautiful place

This condo is located near a variety of must-do things on Marco. Although a last minute plumbing problem with a condo on an upper level prevented us from using the master bath, our liaison let us know about it before we arrived and gave us alternatives. The unit is clean and cute. Has everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked and we found the location to be perfect for all of the activities we had planned (shelling, jet-skis are right next door, and deep sea fishing - the marina is less than 2 minutes away by car). Be sure to read/take your access doc you receive (i accidentally forgot mine, but my liaison was very helpful and got us in and going for a beautiful vacation) as it has the critical information you need for an enjoyable stay and check out time is at 10 am, a little earlier than a hotel. The pictures are exactly as pictured except for a dehumidifier in the second bath which is a necessity in south Florida. Highly recommend staying here!

Quaint, quiet, incredibly relaxing stay right on the water!

What a wonderful weekend in Marco Island! The apartment was immaculate, kind size bed was super comfortable and the gulf views could not be beat! We had a great time at Judy's condo, as it's right in the heart of Marco and you can access everything within a few minutes drive. Thanks again for an awesome weekend and we can't wait to come back!

Great Location - Nice Condo

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. A condo beats a hotel any day! This one is even better since it has 2 bathrooms. We were there during the off-season so the condo, and really the whole island, were pretty quiet. Which was just fine with us. The condo is clean and comfortable with a nice screened balcony looking over the pool and the waterway. One evening we saw 3 dolphins feeding and one swam right under the dock we were standing on! It was amazing. There are plenty of restaurants within easy driving distance. Our favorite was the Snook Inn which you can walk to.

Communication is great with the owner, by email and text. The only thing that we found unusual compared to other rentals we have stayed in was that the basics are not provided such as toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. This is in the rental terms, so was not a surprise and we stopped at the store on our way to the condo.

Overall a great rental and we would definitely stay again.

Beautiful River View

We are frequent travelers, who have stayed in hotels and condos throughout the world. We usually frequent timeshare resorts (of which we own many,) but have occupied rental condos managed by onsite companies. This was our first experience with VRBO.

Comparisons between timeshare properties and independently owned condos would not be fair. Although resorts tend to offer many more amenities, these are paid for through maintenance fees, and are often expensive. This review then, is based upon our experiences at other rental properties.

This condo, located within the Riverside Club complex, was lovely, indeed. Beautifully updated with granite countertops, and the latest appliances, we found the furnishings to be attractive, comfortable, and scrupulously clean. Our favorite aspect of the condo, was the screened-in lanai, overlooking the pool and the Marco River. A ceiling fan on the lanai, provided a gentle breeze as we enjoyed snacks, coffee or relaxing solitude. The living room was equipped with two easy chairs, perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. (My husband stated that the recliner was the first really comfortable chair he has found in any rental property.)

The rental contract was a long one, with pages of "do or don't" regulations. At first we found this to be daunting, but our Florida friends assured us that such contracts are necessary. Apparently, many renters consider the entire state of Florida to be a "Spring Break" destination throughout the year, and are disrespectful of rental properties. My husband and I - both senior citizens - were traveling without family and do not tend to be "rowdy"! We were not bothered by any of the rules involving numbers of guests, etc. On the other hand, we were surprised to learn that we needed to bring all of own supplies, including dishwasher pellets and toilet paper. This would make sense for long-staying guests, but was somewhat bothersome for us, staying only 3 nights.

Another unpleasant surprise was to discover that smoking is allowed in and around the community pool. Obviously, the condo owner has no control over this, but we found it bothersome.

Generally, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this property for couples traveling without children. Owner, Judy Zimmerman's company is called "Tranquil Vacations Rentals". Our stay was tranquil indeed and we appreciated all of the care that has gone into making this condo a lovely place to visit.

Owner's Response: Thanks you for the wonderful review of the condo. The view is really mesmerizing and the condo is decorated in relaxing soothing colors. It may seem like there are alot of rules, however, as you stated not everyone is considerate of condos they rent. The condo is located in a complex where there are some people that live there full time as well as others that live there for several months. They should not have to deal with issues from renters. As far as supplies, since this is a residential property and not a hotel, it is difficult to provide everything renters need even for a short stay. I do tell renters ahead of time that they will need to pick up certain items. This will assure that when they arrive they have everything they need. I am sorry that you experienced smoking at the pool. Our association just past an amendment to our Declarations in February, that smoking is NOT allowed at the pool. I will have to check to see why this is not being enforced. Thanks again for your wonderful review. I hope to hear from you again!

Marco Island is unique because even in the high season in March the island is not overly crowded. Many fantastic restaurants and the fishing and boating is beyond belief. The weather on Marco Island makes this location a must as even in the worst months of winter it is balmy on the island.
