Unique two bedroom apartment with unparalled views of Salisbury Cathedral

With your own resident's parking bay just seconds from your independent front door, this quirky, attractive apartment offers versatile accommodation over two floors. Entering via a generous lobby area you proceed up a staircase to the first floor where you will find a well sized, comfortable lounge with a beautiful original sash bay window overlooking the Close and Cathedral lawns. A good range of seating, TV and artwork. This leads to a large, light and well equipped modern kitchen/diner with microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine, iron and ironing board. Provision has been made for four guests in this area.

Just off the kitchen is a good sized modern bathroom furnished with a bath, shower fitting, wash hand basin and toilet.

The dual aspect master bedroom is delightfully furnished with a double bed, drawers and hanging space plus built in secure cupboard. Seating within the bay window offers the perfect vantage point from which to watch the world go by as you start the day.

The second floor is accessed via a very steep and curving staircase, suitable only for able bodied adults. Here you will find two characterful areas, one small double bedroom with a window overlooking the North Walk and a further generous area which can be used as a dressing or relaxing area.

You will notice the ecclesiastical touches throughout the apartment in keeping with its heritage and location. Church chairs and prayer book stands blend in well with contemporary furnishings offering you a special blend of both worlds.

Clean tidy and lovely decor- just like home from home

Highly recommend this lovely apartment, stayed there for 2nights to celebrate Birthdays, such an amazing location overlooking the cathedral.

So very clean and even Genevieve ( who we met on arrival) left us a basket of local food, daffodils & vouchers for the coffee shop below. We fully recommend a stay at 32 The Close.

Beautiful location and flat

Really enjoyed our time here. Am from Salisbury and got married this weekend. Was struggling to find somewhere fabululous to spend a few days after the wedding. We found the perfect spot here however!!!

Truly beautiful and mystical location

View is the best we've ever stayed in. V comfortable and peaceful accommodation. Everything we needed was close to hand. Better instructions re central heating would have been helpful. Recommend the availability of folding table for wonderful bay windows.

Uplifting sound of bells and great to be able to walk short distance across to the wonderful Salisbury Cathedral for services.

Nice to have cream tea vouchers for lovely Cathedral refectory.

A great property in a unique location!

Belle View is a great choice if you are looking for a unique self catering property in a quiet reflective location. The impact of the cathedral view is breath-taking, so much so there was almost no need for a television as we spent a lot of the time watching the changing view out of the windows. Genevieve was a great host welcoming us on arrival and settling us in. The property has everything you need and expect, whilst its position means that you are in walking distance of everything that Salisbury has to offer from culture through to shops. Would I recommend it? Yes, ...will I return?, ...most definitely!

Excellent Location - Stunning View

This apartment is wonderful! Not only does it have the best view in Salisbury it leaves you wanting for nothing. The attention to detail shows in every nook and cranny down to the fresh flowers and welcome basket; thank you Christine. The apartment was as advertised, bright, roomy, spotlessly clean, secure, and with a fully equipped kitchen. Christine met us on arrival with a very warm welcome and walked through the apartment with us which we really appreciated. This apartment is situated on the grounds of the Cathedral in the centre of the town so no need to move your car from the dedicated parking spot right outside the door. The view from every window is spectacular. We found ourselves sitting in the yellow chairs for most of our stay. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to visit again.

The property is an excellent combination of superb location and attractive facilities.

The property was as advertised and provided a unique way to experience life near the wonderful Cathedral in Salisbury. The rooms were very clean and well set up. The layout is very good, taking advantage of the spectacular Cathedral vista. The owner was very accommodating. We were late after our flight was delayed several hours but she came to meet us and made us feel most welcome.

Our only negative was that late at night there was inappropriate, noisy and drunken behaviour in the streets behind the house and in the cathedral close. Police came on the third night and it was quiet after that.

I would certainly recommend this place to friends.

The magnificent Cathedral just yards away, you can stroll across the lawns to attend nightly Evensong at which our world class choir sing, enjoy the art frequently on display in the Cathedral or spend time in the beautiful Chapter House where the 1215 Magna Carta is displayed, one of only four copies remaining in the world. For more energetic visitors a behind the scenes Tower Tour takes you to the base of the Cathedral's soaring spire, the tallest in the UK. Via the 332 steps taken in easy stages you enter the Cathedral roof spaces where the ancient wood structures and hollow spire with its scaffolding can be observed. The views from the top of the Tower are unparalleled, looking way beyond the city to the surrounding countryside.

Old Sarum the Cathedral's original pre 13th Century home, is just minutes away by car and Stonehenge a 20 minute drive.
